The truth is that he doesn't just play for the money, he has a great competitive spirit, he just manages to keep his cool in high pressure situations. Today was maybe the first time he ever got really flustered/tilted.. Going for a 6 queen opening in game 3 which he never used before?? That game 2 would throw off almost anyone, and he doesn't have the benefit of a coach. | ||

I agree, it already happened a few times before, he bombed out of a few tournaments earlier than expected here and there (previous Dreamhack, Battle of Berlin, examples abound). Nothing new imo, nobody can be that consistent. And it's not such a bad result as he's pretty sure to be seeded into DHW which has the bigger prizepool. | ||
