It's done so 90% of the students get kicked out, and there is nearly no medical lessons, except for organic chemistry. It's a selection based on work abilty and rigour in reasoning (which is quite important for a doctor I believe ^^) and many many people don't take it seriously (most of these missing the exam). Real things begin in the second year.

I Do not get your point :D The first year is really really hard, the guys who are making the first year for the second time are making noise to prevent the others from succeding, but then you chill until you have to get the internship.

Yeah, for those who don't know how it's done in France, medicine is actually the hardest path you can take at the university. About the video, you have to understand: Those who are trying their first year for the second time (Called "Carré") (Even the best highschool student usually fails the first time) are preventing the other (Called "Bizuth") to listen to the teacher. "Carré" already have the lesson so they don't need to listen, but preventing "Bizuth" to get the lesson means more chance for them at the final exam. This behavior is due to the difficulty and the high stress med school may provoke, it is not "a joke"

In short, you've spent one year of your life essentially learning to be a douchebag. A tough competitive douchebag. lol. And don't get me wrong, I'm french too. (J'ai fait prépa ingénieur, je sais de quoi je parle même si médecine, encore bien pire -_-). But sometimes when you've been around the world like I did, you have to face the evidence... Stephano don't go to the french med University, there are better courses and schools out there to spend your hard-earned SC2 money into!!

Otherwise, what kind of fucked-up education system do they have in france? How can anyone accept that crap? Bring in the national guard and pew-pew on the loud mofo's TBH, and their education minister while they are at it.

If he's smart he will study in some other place than France But I really never understood why uni-students in France are such douchebags. To not helps other is quite standard, but losing time on your study to make other people fails is so stupid. Glad i was born in Swiss ^^

But it's only an external point of view. Edit: 2posts and i don't even said.. Gratz Stephano!
