You have to know, the law and even the rules are totally different in Europe and France. First, for french people, the legal age is 18 but you can buy vodka bottle in any supermarket at 15 / 16 and even younger withtout any problem, people never never ask for ID card. There are many student under 18 who spend their saturday night in bar and drink a lot, even it's "forbidden". It's totally différent for USA so you cant judge with your own point of view. Captain obvious spotted ! Anyway, the guy's just saying that if the same thing was to happen to Stephano in the US it might turn out bad for him, nothing else, how is that judging ? OFFTOPIC captain obvious if you want but this guy is right. US citizens, please don't judge our comportment. We don't judge you with your Guns for example. ~Lets stephano drinking what he want when he want. Winning mass money without celebration, this is a shame, not being drunk. I wish i could mod this channel when i read some things like that. That's how you do it ? When somebody expresses opinion you don't agree with you just "mod him" ? Then just go to Iran or North Korea, they think as you do there. btw I share you're opinion about drinking and I'm pissed that Stephano drinks and doesn't practice that much, but I respect his choice and I'm still a fan. Just a disappointed one. I was talking about VelJa who's a Millenium guy not about the advice : ).I gave mine like others so i don't see the point to mod that ^^. Maeh I agree with you when Stephano had a huge hangover at MLG arena that was bad but this time at Dreamhack he did nothing wrong. His tournament was over and he is free todo whatever he wants. And if Stephano want to act like any other teenager in Europe he should be alowed to.
I took the overall situation, not only the Dreamhack and yes he's allowed to,like i said he's a grown man : D.Even if the ending of that DH drinking story was pretty sad.

WTF. Stop this bullshit drama now !
he play starcraft, what's not starcraft related dont belong here. You act like trash people magazine caring only about drama.
Look at the positive side in everything (like D[9] used to say) after all, he his the most successfull player in the game. You cant win everything, the game is not at a stage where someone can always win cause he is so much better.
I actually think that this last tournament run are more impressive than winning a GSL. (in fact it's so different that i dont want compare the two, but i'll do it...)
GSL is a long term tournement, with preparation between all matches, it's a good format for player who actually prepare and pratice "tactics" for one game, one map, one adversary. Running good in all tournement he enter, consistently placing top 5 in everything is for me much more impressive than winning a GSL like MVP does on the last one. I'm pretty sure if you put MVP in all the last tournament that stephano play, with the same bracket / pool play, he doesnt place as high as Stephano just did.
ELO ranking speak for himself.
We need a RAce ranking and World Tour ranking like in Tennis, to see how many consecutive week he place first. Even if he doesnt win every big tournament he enter this years, It's a much better years than the last one. Yes he didnt win a "big one" but if he continue to play like he play, it will happen.
overalll winning % : Stephano : 68.16% MVP : 65.64% squirtle : 63.13 % MKP ; 61.09%
... if he keep this record until he stop playing, it will be better than anyone before in starcraft.

Stephano is as funny as fuck. He is like those star players who don't like to practice. Only to enjoy the beauty of winning.

I have to agree with Benjamin here. I was disappointed by him getting drunk during MLG Arena, but at DH the tournament was over, so he basically can do what he wants. Maybe i'm just concerned about health issues if he gets drunk too often. But (sadly imo) it's pretty standard to get drunk every weekends nowadays for youngsters (and even more for medecine students, i know what i'm talking about :p). And talking about his tournaments results i feel he is doing awesome lately. Better than ever actually, though i would like a win in another major tournament. But getting top 4 like so many times in a row in so many stacked tournaments? That's awesome. I want to tell him: take a break, train your zvz, figure out how to deal with that immortal all-in and you'll win something big again. And i am glad to root for him. Go Stephano! ^^

Cool! I have previously said that Millenium should make more use of Stephano's popularity and success. By selling more merchandise Team Millenium can gain more benefits from Stephano's high profile. This t-shirt is a great commercial move, but it should be just the start. Stephano is the most popular streamer in SC2. Millenium need to leverage that with more merchandise! I am sure Stephano could shift product.

They should make a toy figure of Stephano, I would buy that. Well, maybe. =D
Btw, I don't like this t-shirt, doesn't look cool to me, while it could have been badass.

maybe he is so good because he drinks so much, all we know is that he is extremely good at starcraft, drinks a lot and trains little, maybe drinking alcohol>practicing in terms of improving your starcraft skills somebody should make a big study about that

People talk like if stephano almost dont practice, dont be fool guys, he practice every single day, its understandble if he practices less than the koreans and is still that good, some people got more talent, but im sure he still practices a lot so stop being like, "omg he is the best foreigner and he almost dont play omgomgomg"
|
Naxx : every 5 page someone point that out. everyone here know that their is a part of bullshit / intox in the saying that stephano dont practice. he practice, for sure, less than other for sure. so in fact, your last sentence is totally true :
he his the best foreigner, if not the best player actually, and he almost dont pratice (compared to the top korean)
stop the hate !

Mega LoL at that guy comparing foreign tournaments with GSL. Did you even watch GSL? Its an all out fucking war there and everyone plays like crazy unlike matches between most foreigners who seem to take SC2 as their third rate hobby. You think DRG and MKP grew from foreign tournaments to the level they are now?
I'm starting to belive that this is stephano's limit because of his approach to sc2 aka make easy money without the practice and commitment other players invest. I doub't we will ever see him win another major tournament again.

Uh. Stephano's one of the better positionned players to win tournaments. He's the most consistent player in the foreign scene. You'll see him win something eventually, can't win all matches, he's no MKP. Besides DRG and MKP, who wins major tournaments regularly? nobody that is.
There's tons of players that can win (and get lucky too) in tournaments, give it some slack.

no respect for a player with no commitment to the game, says his first game vs polt was his warm up game in mlg, competes in tournaments while intoxicated. Don't care if he wins, still a immature little kid

In my opinion the reason people are frustrated with Stephano's behavior is that they feel he's wasting his potential. When you see a person who's got much better skills than you and who's not utilizing those skills to make the best of every opportunity, it's easy to get angry/disappointed/etc. Even if you look at things from the point of view "i play just for money", why wouldn't you make efforts to earn as much as you can, while you still can? If i was half as good as he is, i'd try to play in every Playhem, every Go4Sc2, every Antec and so on. Let's say you win 10 of those in a month, which is absolutely possible for someone at his level - that's easily $ 1000+. And it's not like you are taking away from your practice time, the later stages of these small regular tournaments are filled with pretty good players. I'm certain that he can and he will win a major tournament again. He just needs to want it. It would be nice if he had someone to push him, to motivate him. Like the manager of Millennium, for example.
Anyway, i'm just blabbering, had a bad day yesterday and today i hate the world. Sorry.
