this is actually really bad... this is an all too common scenario for Stephano that seems to happen literally every event that could potentially end really bad for him.
all its gonna take is this happening somewhere in the States, and someone calls the police and he gets into trouble(not bad, but probably enough to cause VISA issues) and even more importantly, the cops will find out who is providing alcohol for him and make an example of him/her and then e-sports drama will ensue like crazy.
all its gonna take is some player or Team who finds out they have to play him the next day to make a phone call. and then, suddenly, it wont be funny anymore.
clean your shit up dude, or at least be smart about it.

No its not really bad. Stephano is a normal european kid. Im glad he is like that. He takes the normal sterotype of a gamer and throw it out the window.
People talk about getting sc2 to a mainstream audience. Well Stephano is the perfect candidate. He is someone the mainstream youth can identify with.
Also I find it exstremely pompous that you start talking about American laws when this happends in Sweden. Who gives a shit what would happend if he was in the US.
Stephano is acting just like any other 16-20 old teen in europe and thats is awesome! And I really hope he never change! And btw the reason the police are picking him up is to protect himself, he wont get a fine or anything he will however get a good breakfast when he wakes up!

jeeeez, people. It's not like he broke any law or anything. Just had a little too much to drink. He's a smart kid. He will learn from his misstakes like all teenagers do.

Each time people are so serious with Stephano and alcohol, he is from USA. You have to know, the law and even the rules are totally different in Europe and France. First, for french people, the legal age is 18 but you can buy vodka bottle in any supermarket at 15 / 16 and even younger withtout any problem, people never never ask for ID card. There are many student under 18 who spend their saturday night in bar and drink a lot, even it's "forbidden". It's totally différent for USA so you cant judge with your own point of view.

Captain obvious spotted ! Anyway, the guy's just saying that if the same thing was to happen to Stephano in the US it might turn out bad for him, nothing else, how is that judging ?

I wish i could mod this channel when i read some things like that.As the owner of Stephano's content i feel really bad about this haha. So drinking on every event is fun ? Drinking is fun and it's a shame to not drink ? Totally OFFTOPIC yes, especially when it comes from a Millenium Staff Member. (VelJa)
Stephano can't celebrate anything because he's always at the third place. You don't celebrate the fact you fail at winning something when you can do it. Because he had this DH.
I'm pretty sure if he spends more time to practice and less time to drink, he'll win more for sure. But i can understand people who has fun with news like "Just saw Stephano getting carried out by the bouncers."
Drinking is not an option, no matter what, it's not good for a carrier. Especially when you hear more about this than the results you make on competition.
And a last word about this USA/France war (again). We're an esport community no matter what so i don't see the point to say "US citizens, please don't judge our comportment. We don't judge you with your Guns for example."
By saying that, you're just judging and lighting the flame. There's no place for that in here. This is the typical attitude i ban on Stephano's stream. And it's not professional at all.
I don't know if USA is better than France, but all i know is the human being is pretty sad to see right now.

Drinking is not an option, no matter what? Who the hell do you think you are telling people if they can drink or not? Who the hell do you think you are telling others that they are not allowed to celebrate? Unbelievable. Maybe go to Saudiarabia or something, seems like their mindset would fit you better.
Also nice that you help to drag down the thread you made.

Drinking is not an answer at all, i confirm what i'm saying. Sure you can party i mean, i do it : D.But i was talking about the "carrier side". When you have a job, if you drink at work, it's not good right :D ?I was trying to explain this but i guess my words wasn't well picked. And i guess i'm not judging more than other people in here (who the hell are you *Judging*, Go to Saudiarabia *Judging a country and telling me what to do*).See ?
This is easy but in fact it doesn't solve anything. It was just my advice, Stephano is an old boy he does what he wants like you said : ).It was my point of view, as the follower/helper of Stephano since more than one year right now.
He's very talented and somehow it's disappointing to hear more about how drunk he was those times (Almost all events since January 2012) than the results he made.

He's still pretty young, he probably learnt something this day. I totally agree that this type of exposure isn't optimal and that he should spend more time training, but if he doesn't do stupid shit now when will he be able to? Med school? As far as we know he didn't get drunk during DreamHack, lost to the victor to a very specific a hard to hold allin, and still got 3rd place over alot of awesome players.
If there's anyone that can really say something, it's not iNcontroL (he's still Millenium and not EG), it's his current Boss, eventual future boss or his parents.
Just chill out Maeh. Kid's gonna learn.

Don't worry buddy i'm totally "chilled" despite of the last comments : ). About his loss against MaNa he said he was really disappointed by himself about that because he lost to the same stuff at MLG. Even if i think MaNa's version was way better than SaSe's one.
He didn't get drunk during Dreamhack but he already went drunk before important games (MC's ones and other). Hangover and performance are not BFF : D.

The problem is indeed the false feeling of entitlement some people have. It is just like someone else here said, Stephano doesnt owe you anything, it is his life.
Apart from that, people here are talking as if Stephano performed bad. Another case of overboarding expectations and entitlement. Just because he loses 4 maps in 2 tournaments to a specific build he has problems with it does not mean he didnt take it serious, didnt practice, or whatever you people are assuming here. Stephano showed great games in both recent tournaments and had another top4 finish in a high profile tournament. Have a look at the top players that finshed behind him, would you talk that bad about their performance as well?
Stephano can and will not win everything. Guess he still has to lose a little more often so that some people here get a better grip of reality.

OFFTOPIC captain obvious if you want but this guy is right. US citizens, please don't judge our comportment. We don't judge you with your Guns for example. ~Lets stephano drinking what he want when he want. Winning mass money without celebration, this is a shame, not being drunk. I wish i could mod this channel when i read some things like that. That's how you do it ? When somebody expresses opinion you don't agree with you just "mod him" ? Then just go to Iran or North Korea, they think as you do there. btw I share you're opinion about drinking and I'm pissed that Stephano drinks and doesn't practice that much, but I respect his choice and I'm still a fan. Just a disappointed one. I was talking about VelJa who's a Millenium guy not about the advice : ).I gave mine like others so i don't see the point to mod that ^^.
Maeh I agree with you when Stephano had a huge hangover at MLG arena that was bad but this time at Dreamhack he did nothing wrong. His tournament was over and he is free todo whatever he wants. And if Stephano want to act like any other teenager in Europe he should be alowed to.

If i am top 4 in a major event, yes i will drink with friends. What the problem? It's not MLG arena, he make party AFTER the event, like others players (like Adelscott). They are not monks.

The fact is Stephano was last year a "regular" player in term of "Winning". Like i said i don't blame his performance. I took the third place example to explain my celebrate/drink point of view. MaNa played really good and i'm less disappointed by this loss compared to SaSe's one. Because MaNa knows Stephano and he played really good the whole tournament. The HerO's games i mean ...Wow.
I think you're right and wrong at the same time : D. People are blaming Stephano because this "drink attitude" is like disappointing for them. It's not about losing against a 2 bases immortal sentries all-in from my pov. Stephano is an amazing player and we know he can do soooo much better than that, that's what most people think, that's what i think and it's not a dream =D.
