He had to cut drones at 40 and build units to defend the initial pressure from Mana, which means his economy suffers slightly. If you noticed he build 14 drones as he was knocking on Mana's frontdoor, but these 14 only put him up to 54 drones. So even though he tried to do the usual 12 min max roach/ling, he wasn't able to due to the early pressure, and perhaps the fact that Stephano overreacted to the initial pressure and build too many units instead of a round of drones. | ||

A very good tournament overall by Stephano, he maintains his consistency of placing very high in all his tournaments recently. He also beat 3 more Koreans making it 15 different Koreans he has defeated in just over a month! Finishing joint 3rd at DreamHack gives him a great chance of qualifying for the DreamHack Winter Finals. He also wins another ~$3500 in prize money bringing his career total to around $123,500 to date. | ||
