what? sorry idra, you clearly never listen to him cast (somebody remember when it was?) The TL interview and it's true. Stephano plays by his guts he doesn't know why things work he just does it. Do you ever have that feeling OHH I have to do this and this, right now well he operates on that. We all have that to some extent. For instance my stomach starts hurting if I don't have turrets up at 11:30 in TvZ. It's just built into me. you just say this because some crappy casters told you, he actually coaches very well and i've never seen someone comentating with more game insight than stephano, he commentated his stream a few times... I don't know where he got his knowledge from, since he claims to only practice a few hours a day and doesn't do to much other sc2 related things but he sure as hell knows what he is doing Coaching amateurs (even a low master) and coaching IdrA are 2 different things. How could you explain to someone on your level that you "feel" the game ? It isn't a conscious rational reasoning but a prescient unconscious one. As such he cannot explains how he reads the game because it just happens to be in his head. This is actually a common trait for high IQ people.

This is most assuredly wrong. As others have pointed out, Stephano has in the past, on stream, given great in game insight. Also recall game 1 against Parting at RedBull when Parting went for double stargate and Stephano said after that that was a stupid build on Antiga because the ramp is too broad for just one or two sentries to hold off the inevitable counter attack once the air units hit the zerg base, and he of course was right. That's as cogent an analysis as you'll see anyone give. That's also not instinct but rather knowing, based on experience, what your opponent likely has at home given what transpired in the early game and what build he did.
Idra probably wants to be spoonfed his info and Stephano probably is like -- why again am I going to, for free, coach this guy? So he tells him to "build roaches" against P or something like that, lol.
In any case, you can see the way that Stephano micros his drones in the early game, transfers drones after 16 and in general manages his economy that he obviously isn't just playing purely from instinct.
Edit: Typo

Another third place would be nice - it will probably be behind MKP and DRG, which is nothing to be ashamed of. Strengthening your position as the absolute best foreigner + a nice cash prize = a very good tournament imo.

Stephano's mentality is simply more advanced than Idra's. Stephano meditates, and people who have experience with it and related stuff can testify how powerful being in the moment is, rather than being dominated by the mind.

The actual player menu right next to the full screen mode is VODs (but you can only view them if you are a paying member)

You might wanna check the grammar on your signature.

His next opponent will be a protoss (Sase or Oz), or an extended series player (Polt). Looks good

I think I'd prefer him to face a P than Polt with a 1-map advantage.
Polt is scary good

Is it the HotBid interview?
Edit: So yeah, this sentence is totally out of context. He's saying that Stephano has trouble explaining it (always had); this is no news and IdrA had a very positive attitude when he was talking about it.

Not surprising, he didn't look very pedagogical the only time I saw him coach,

Stephano seems to have the easiest bracket he could have hope for. No Symbol, Leenock or Monster for his shitty ZvZ, some Protoss, and two players (Alicia and Polt) against whom he has the advantages of the extended series. The strongest players he would have to face is Puma I think.
I just hope he won't screw things up like he sometimes do.

Im actually really scared for Polt. If any player got Stephano´s number its Polt. Even with a game advantage its gonna be close. You cant predict Stephano/Polt they are so close all the time

Not sure who i'm rooting for - Sase or Polt. 1 game advantage vs a deadly rival or no game advantage in a ZvP, Stephano's best MU?
Just as i wrote this, Sase beats Polt. ZvP it is. Confident? I think so
