DRG made a lot of mistakes in the third game that were really really weird to me. He lost a queen and didnt remake it for a while and he made some errors with his micro where Effort didnt. I dont understand its stuff like this that you never see from DRG his play is just normally so crisp.

I didn't expect this. Not really bad play from him, but he misses the finesse to actually win a series.

We dont want DRG to get a STD plus his girlfriend would leave him and both of those would make his play even worse. I dont think a hooker is a good plan. Do you have a plan B?

Hmm thats a good point. Genius left because of the coach. sC flunked out of WCS as did DRG. Tails lost to Polt in the second round but thats understandable. Keen is in TSL Round of 8. Havent heard of Sniper Monster or Vampire recently. I dont know, its a possibility but I dont know. The coach just tweeted this 내리는 비가 내 심정과 같구나... But i dont know what that means so...

I was thinking the same thing, but DRG should of won those games. Game 1 was sloppy he even got the perfect opening that he wanted to do but just seemed to be overrun with roaches some how. Not too sure what really happened that game. Game 2 was much better it just seemed like a master class of how to starve and counter attack in ZvZ and win. Game 3 he seemed to lack some decision making like after he killed those 2 queens surely its better to make drones and expand with the larvae bonus? Just match your opponents production and squeeze in a hatch while you are in the lead, if effort wanted to remake those 2 queens thats the price of 1 hatch.
The 2nd game give me belief though that it is just a bad spell. DRG started to lose in ZvP when Genius left MVP maybe they lack decent PvZ protoss now to practice with. Where else would he get practice apart from Tails and ladder. Lure isn't exactly great. MVP team feels like its place has been taken by TSL.

I think he will definately come out strong in GSL and OSL! People may just start to underestimate him more too! Hopefully he gets an invite to MLG Summer to take up this free time he has

im not so convinced, its not that he just loses, its the way he loses, the way he looks in his booth and the fact that he turned from a juggernaut into this shadow of his former self within a few days, everything hints towards something serious that must have happened to him or his surroundings

Since I began to watch out for DongRaeGu, I felt that he plays on the edge. He didn't just build a big ball of roaches and a-moved, but he had a plan how to get to a big army and in the meantime he needed to survive with a small army.
Now it seems that DRG needs to adjust his approach as he gets too much damage before he gets his final army.

After his loss in both GSL semifinals as well as GSTL semifinals I can understand that he feels bad. I don't think that there are big personal issues, he is rich, has a chick and still ranks #1 in GSL points for this year.

It doesn't have to but such a big change in life to have a drastic effect on someone. I think you are over thinking it. People have swings in everything they do, just look at sports like Soccer and NFL. Personally I think DRG is the type of player who benefits from mass gaming like an MLG weekend etc and not from the WCS/OSL system where it is pretty much one game. I feel he is a momentum player.
