But does he have the correct mind set? Its like he pretends really well at wanting to be good, but he really isnt driven enough. It was the same deal in wc3.
Stop playing the useless US ladder. Understand that you are/ would be the underdog against any other top euro/ korean players and buckle your shit down. I dont get how one player can drop out of so much shit and always have excuses for losses.

While I don't like bashing people, I do have to agree with some of this. The most annoying thing is that he had a big time off with injury, came back and was playing monstrously well, was being touted as one of the best foreign Terrans bar none and then he drops off a bit again.

I saw this thread was bumped so I assumed that DeMuslim had started to do something, but unfortunately no. I watch almost every Starcraft 2 tournament and I don't think I have ever seen him play. I remember that he was in IPL3 and an MLG, but I don't remember any of his games. I've always been really excited to see how well he plays but that seems to always be followed by either "He was already knocked out of the tournament" or "he didn't come". It is kind a disappointing

Sign me up, I revere this guy. and to McFese, I feel your pain, he streamed about 8 hours a day before christmas, but I haven't seen him around much in the new year. I do love watching him though. ^.^

Has him going to Korea gone down the shitter completely now? Or just delayed? He's wasting his time on US Ladder, not competing in anything. Really would love to see him do well, but it's not going to happen at the EG lair on US ladder I fear

He had poor showings at IPL3 and NASL2. But his MLG runs have been very impressive. He also participated at the IPL4 UK qualifiers where he did well. He ended up with 8th place but only lost to SlayerSRyung and the 2nd place runner up coLMvP_Tails.

Demuslims stream is lightyears ahead of any of the other good Terran w/ commentary streams. (Honorable mention Trump, Gretorp). I swear my MMR is always like 1/4 of a league higher when I consistently watch this stream.
In honor of his birthday, my 3 favorite Demuslim stream moments:
3) Whenever someone is cheesing him, and he calls him a Donut or a Bugger or some other fantastic slang. Love it.
2) EG Practice a couple of days ago. Machine is practicing against some terran. Demuslism was giving him a little feedback on his playstyle during the game. Somewhere around mid game:
Demuslim: "Well for one thing, you know he isn't making tanks now"
Machine: "Wait, how do I know that?"
Demuslim: ".... his Factory is in your base, Bryce"
The whole time Demuslims camera was on the terrans burning factory hovering over Bryce's main, where it had been for a while. I was dyyyying.
1) This was actually on Incontrols stream, but it was a Demuslim moment. So it was that bizarre thanksgiving stream where Incontrol was streaming with Catz and Major, and Combatex came on and him and incontrol were just trolling each other for like 4 straight hours.
Hours into the stream, Demuslim hops on the Skype call. Combatex, being Combatex, goes "DEMUSLIM. You are that skinny fuck aren't you!!!" And the completely nonplussed Demuslim replies "Yes, I am rather slender aren't I". I guess you had to be there, but it was such a cordial, british, and troll proof reply that it completely cracked me up. Demuslim became my favorite foreigner Terran at that moment.
