This makes me incredibly sad. Mvp came from the most possible high in GSL August (Beating every single GSL champion that wasn't himself and wasn't fruitdealer, had the hardest GSL run by far and made it easy). To being beaten by MMA, whom he was favored to beat, and to being beaten by Nestea, who he had like a 16-3 record against. He has come from so high to this. Here's hoping to a comeback in the grand final...

Can barely recognize MVP anymore. His play has been really disappointed this weekend. No doubt he would have won both GSL and Blizzcon if it was played a few weeks ago.

Ignoring the second game (close positions, didn't watch), he didn't play correctly at all in the first. Not sure why he felt the need to be so aggressive against a 2-base Zerg when he was on 3...

I still have hope he'll play at his level, but yeah, he doesn't have that invincible aura he did from MLG till... losing to MMA. Give us great games against Sen / Naniwa, and get back to the finals!

It benefits terran greatly mid-late game as terran can get by on 2 bases better than zerg and siege the natural easily. Nestea's only option was to all in. Don't blame nestea, blame blizzard for including close positions which is basically like playing on steppes of war.

slump? seriously? losing in finals of GSL is called slump nowadays? even in blizzcon he is in losers bracket finals and still has a chance to win it and you're calling it slump.
series vs nestea wasn't him playing bad. it was just him playing extremely greedy.

You can call it a slump when it lasts for two months or more. Until then, nobody should be saying MVP is slumping. He's just having a bad weekend, which he'll hopefully turn around by thrashing NesTea into the ground.

Not that I think he's playing bad. Loving his play. But I don't call it a slump. But it's too one sided at the moment, I have yet to see epic macro games.
