DRG is a great zerg, don't get me wrong, but there is only really one player that's even in the same league as Mvp now in terms of his status. That player is Flash.
Mvp is the first great player of SC2. He's dominated almost since the game came out and even now when so called ESF heroes are falling left and right to just about everyone and even old BW pro gamers are getting hammered by foreigners, Mvp is still dominating, even with a potentially career threatening injury.
Without that injury, we wouldn't even be talking about this. Mvp is simply the best there has been and his dominance was almost incomparable.

the reason why mvp dominated sc2 is because he was the only a teamer who transitioned. it was a risky move and it paid off. flash was dominating players that mvp had difficult time winning against, so the two are not really comparable.
i was a long time defender of mvp in his early days precisely because people used to mock his bw record. he's actually pretty decent. but make no mistake, flash is way better, and so are the other s class guys.

I'mj ust pointing out who is having a good year.
I would say, from 2012 in a vaccum, that drg has the most impressive results. But in detailed context he isnt touching the ispirational path that mvp has lead. I don't think we're at an argument ><
Im just saying , 2012 in a vaccum
DRG: 1 GSL 3 MLG'S 2 SILVER MLG'S
MVP: 1 GSL IEM
DRG didn't win 3 MLG's.

I don't think you can simply state this in Sc2, it is much easier to lose due to certain timings and builds in Sc2 than it was in BW, in BW your mechanics could take you all the way to the top.

Dongraegu met mkp in 4 mlg finals. Lost two, won two and then he beat alicia at another mlg

Meh MLGs. Don´t mean a lot, too much bracket luck.
And lulz at the notion of Stephano being a top player. He won tournaments which ment even less than MLGs...

In no way was I comparing any of those players to MVP, I was just saying, when the year is over and you look back on paper to find out who indeed, actually had a good year, and I simply spouted out players to the best of my knowledge who had some nice runs with tourneys.
I never once directly compared them to the status of MVP.
But hey, if we're gona argue in this worl,d it's beautiful that it will be about our love for mvp.
Lol, so stop responding indirectly to what I'm saying about nice runs and shut the fuck, cause I really don't wana fucking argue and that's not why I'm hear fuck you.
MVP To take the season IMPO.
cOME one OCome one.

In one sense of the word, Mvp is a bonjwa.
The specific sense of the word I'm referring to is that bonjwas are known as revolutionizers. Mvp has certainly revolutionized the Terran matchups... every Terran matchup... multiple times... at different periods...
If nothing else, Mvp has bonjwa-level impact on the game, that cannot be denied.

Where are all the Mvp fans? Lets spam the Semi-final preview thread :D

Shit I am so fucking stressed about this match. I don't think I have it in me to watch it live
Come on mvp, two more matches. Do it for your fans. And the money!
