No, he's still there, in the open bracket, meaning he paid for himself, unless their info for the open bracket is very outdated (since just after winter arena).

I really really miss this guy. I really do T_T

Indeed, I know a lot would gladly donate their wrists to see the same Mvp during 2011 .

If Mvp ends up finding a specialist to cure his wrist problems, I'd gladly donate what I can to help. I'm sure there are many out there like me! We should start a fundraiser for Mvp's wrists!!
DONATE TO SAVE MVP's WRISTS!!!!

First you need a diagnosis an a target amount you need to reach. But yes Mvp has enough fans to get it done

I don't think the cost is the problem with him finding a specialist, either he actually can't or he doesn't want to take time off and lose his gsl spot to get his wrists fixed.

I think he could afford the surgery.

The problem is finding a doctor who knows what the heck is going on in his wrists as far as I know.

Why is he going to IPL with those wrists? A weekend tournament must be incredibly painful even with normal CTS, not to mention his injury.
|
He may have the same thing my father had a couple of years ago. I don't know what it was called but his right hand got pretty much useless because of constant pain in the wrist and he couldn't even grip a mug because of the pain and he had no power in the wrist at all. Pretty scary stuff, but he got his surgery and it's all fine now, but the recovery time lasted almost a full year.
|
Perhaps he feels like it's getting better, or maybe he just wants to visit Vegas and spend some of that $250k, either way, he'll have to know what he's doing to make the choice to go there out of his own pocket.
I'm not really confident, but hey, he knows best :D.

This is why i kinda wish he wasn't going to IPL. I feel he needs to hurry up and get his wrist fixed as the longer he waits the longer will be his recovery. There is actually a point where he could be doing irreversible damage too
Otherwise I hope he crushes IPL and gets at least a semi final appearance. For a good portion of last year this was almost guaranteed.

what is doing the IM coach if i was him i would force MVP to heal before playing again

I highly doubt he still has all of the 250k left. I mean he doesn't live in the teamhouse, I think he also has a girlfriend, he needs to support himself and her.

Uhm I don´t think that is the only money he receives. Maybe he was able to show up in some commercials. Also, don´t forget that he is a great rapper (vid earlier in this thread).
IMMvp can do anything.

Even if he were spending it on girls and parties every single day he'd still have a bunch left, not to mention he is the top/2nd top paid player on his team so he'll definitely be receiving money from sponsors, such as steelseries.
Also the open bracket was just announced, Mvp is against 'Rumcake' in the first round, but after that he's likely to need to face a lot of protoss players, which is his weakest matchup.
Still, I have faith he knows what he's doing, even if he just wanted to visit Vegas for the venue and the life experience, but as a fan it's nice to see he's not giving up.

I really hope MVP does well at IPL's open bracket. I feel like everyone's moved on, but I really want to see him back in unstoppable mode.
