with new wrists he will literally win 99% of his matches in 2012! The last thing I heard was IdrA himself said Mvp's wrists were so bad he isn't practicing much anymore

I've never seen such terrible play, 0-4 today in Ironsquid.
This is embarrassing for an NA grandmaster, let alone a code S champion.

what an awful day T_____T
confidence kind of in tatters for his GSL group now. Obviously this didn't really matter for shit but it's hard to see him winning if he's playing this badly on a day to day basis.

Kind of depressing to see such talent be squandered by CTS Mvp was literally unbeatable at one stage..

I was walking home from school today and I realized that I forgot what MVP's face looked like. Now I remember.
Despite my dislike for him initially (only because he's a winner), I honestly enjoy watching him play so strongly. GL MVP!

He needs to get treatment ASAP. If his wrists are hurting so much he can't even practice, it honestly sounds like he's at the point at which he needs to find a doctor and get it taken care of before he cripples himself. Not even worried about his play atm, but his physical health, which should always come first.
Dunno how the fuck it even got to this point. I remember in an interview that he said he sometimes forgot to go to the doc for his regular treatments, but tbh, he shouldn't even be allowed to practice without going to the doc first. He needs to take time off. Sure, it'll put him behind, but it'd be even worse if the damage becomes permanent.

Definitely, I mean even though this is the worst I've ever seen him play in all of his Sc2 matches, I don't care one bit, I can feel his pain just by looking at his play. It looks like someone trying to play with two broken arms and pretending it doesn't hurt.

Luckily, MVP has until mid-April to rest for his GSL group.
|
I think MVP said in an interview that his wrist problems were slightly different from other progamers (most likely referring to Flash). I think he has gone to specialists and they don't really know exact how to treat it. I would think MVP would opt for surgery if it was known that the problem would be fixed. But right now, he is probably just seeing more doctors to see if he can find a good treatment for it.

T.T MVP, you're breaking my heart.
|
At this point I would rather see him just stop playing until he finds a doctor who can fix his wrists instead of dying a painful death. With yesterday´s condition I don´t see him winning anything.
|
Oh God, is it true that he's going to IPL open bracket or is this an April fools joke?!
Seriously at the level he was playing for Iron Squid this will be absolute torture for him, I'm really scared if it is true.
|
He played well on the first 2 days of iron squid... Not sure what happened vs Idra and MC. He was just moving out at odd times... Could be that he just had an off day... Considering that he is paying his own way to IPL, maybe his condition has improved
|
You could be right, but his play was abysmal against IdrA and MC, an on-form Mvp wouldn't lose in that fashion, and the games weren't even close.
Hopefully he's feeling better, but I have my fears.

Where does it say he is going to IPL?
|
I hope he goes to IPL. IM_MVP is just the coolest Terran player around, and even though he isn't as flashy as MarineKing, his top form is so solid and mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm good.
Here's to him winning and getting better!
|
It is in the IPL4 thread. Someone from IGN tweeted that MVP, Oz, Leenick, etc signed up as well... Although it is pretty obvious that MVP isn't on his top form atm, weekend tournaments can be unpredictable. Anyone can get on a hot streak... With so many code S and code A players in the open bracket, it will be a big accomplishment just getting through
|
I hope he'll take good care of his health before his next matches. I'm so hyped by his GSL group as well, hope he'll be able to show us some very good games and some sick terran strats! :p
MVP fighting <3

MVP was removed in the IPL I Don't see his name anymore in the brackets. Too Bad. I hope he gets his wrist fixed and get revenge for theses past months
