not sure whether he's struggling for health or whether he's just slumping in general, but something needs to change ><

His play has been declining little by little ever since his loss to MMA in the GSL October Finals and now his level of play is pretty terrible to be honest, this is not the same MVP anymore. Is it health issues or what? What's going on with MVP? MVP has very advanced carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists, he suffers crippling pain in both hands after he plays for an extended period of time. Flash also suffered from this and recently had surgery to help him recover. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Mvp_(player)#Trivia Good luck to MVP in the future, really want to see him back owning it up in Code S!

Is it health issues or what? What's going on with MVP? Success does not define skill. A bo3 imho is not a determinant of skill and his wrists have indeed strained him the past few months. While people have been unimpressed with mvp's recent performance, they fail to realize that all of the best players have lost ridiculous bo3s to players that are nowhere near their calibur. MKP to Drewbie as well as Mvp getting knocked out by Choya in the open Gsl. Sc2 is a numbers game, eventually the better players will receive redemption and the term "upset" is pretty much a stint to gain publicity in terms of foreigners. We are all human and there is only so much you can do in terms of having the perfect game. Mvp has earned my respect ever since his last stand in BW with marvelous plays against jangbi and flash and will clearly be a competitor in the GSL, MLG and whatever comes in his path. Mvp, I salute you!

It's not whether he can afford it or not but it's the time that is invested into doing so. Recuperation is a very important process and it the key to success in surgery. MvP is one of the top grossing players in all of sc2 from tournaments and tourneys. Plus, he and nestea receive personal sponsership from steelseries so MvP is faring extremely well financially
