dear and soo wil get at least 1500 from the korea finals and seison finals
minimum is 500 + 1000
so dear wil have 50 points more then nani and soo will have 3800 points @ minimum
plz correct me if i am wrong but unless nani gets more points he is now 50 points short of making it
and there no way to get more points
Nope, those points for reaching the finals and RO16 for Season 3 finals are already accounted for.
So if Soo wins GSL then Dear needs to get to the semifinals of the Season 3 Finals to knock Naniwa to 16th, and soO needs to make it to the RO8 to knock Naniwa to 17th and therefore out. If Dear wins then he still needs to make it to RO8 at least and Soo needs RO8. (My math might be wrong though, I'd check out DieForever's number crunch for the exact numbers)

Guys don't forget that Nani will be at DH winter a few weeks after Blizzcon, it might not be as big as the global finals but It's still going to be a huge event with a decently large first place prize. So even if he doesn't make it you can still look forward to that.

Had one of the best sc2 evenings last night, ever. And let me tell you why.
I had it set up with good company, minttu w/ julmust (yeah it works great together), and an evening of two semifinals and a grand final. I was reading bed time stories to my daughter, trying to get her to sleep so I could watch some boring ZvZ just to get a feel of who Naniwa might be playing in the finals if he won vs Hyun. To my dissapointment, the semi's were played in reverse order as to what Liquipedia told us, playing Nani vs Hyun first. So I missed the first two games. Starting the evening sober and with naniwa playing with a 0-2 decifit. But when I downed the first minttu, nani wons his first game, and this is the beginning of an thrilling sc2 night. Not only does Nani deliver fantastic excitement in his game, the ZvZ I thought would such actually played out well and was fun to watch!
So, after a few quick break, watching some youtube clips (meanwhile in russia), the finals started with Life and Naniwa. Alot of micro later, alot of minttu later and alot of nailbiting later, naniwa has a chance to tie the series vs life 2-2, so close but so far away, it ends up in a 3-1 lead for Life. This game was the peak of the night if you ask me. Not only did Minttu taste like a piece of heaven, but the game was such a thrill i could almost not sit still. Imagine a 2-2 tie in a final with such quality of games? When was the last time you saw that? On top of this, not only does naniwa fight back in the next game and evens the score abit more, he does it with fashion! Game 5 was almost as thrilling as game 4.
We dont need to talk about game 6.
My point is. Naniwa is THE reason I watch sc2. It is now confirmed. I do not longer care if Naniwa wins or loses. The thrill alone is enough. Ofcourse it's fun to see naniwa win, but I cannot remember a single game that did not deliver this evening, win or loss.
Keep fighting naniwa. Your fans will always stay true, and you will always have us. Thanks for a fantastic night! It will be remembered.
best, Kim

Naniwa, your play this weekend was an inspiration to us all. I really hope it was a source of motivation for you too! You played extremely well and I can imagine that you are sick of 2nd places, but with the lineup at this IEM, second place is truely amazing. No shame in losing to ST_Life in a finals!
I sincerely hope this motivated you a lot because it really inspired lots of us!
Gogo Nani!

I knew there was a reason you were my favorite protoss for years now. Your style shines through so much brighter than any Korean Protoss. It's better.

Dont forget Svecup grand finals. I think first price is atleast over 10k dollars.

Naniwa:
That proxy 2-gate in game 5 vs. Hyun was really ballzy, reminded me of Mvp's proxy 2 rax against Squirtle in game 7 of the GSL finals a couple of years ago. It shows that you have the mentality of a champion.
Sorry that you got unlucky against Life, you missed a couple of crucial FF's that let his lings in your base too many times, and that game on Whirlwind was just too close to call until the very last second... you had it IMO. Amazing that you gave Life a run for his money, I think you could have taken him out on any other day.
Best of luck, and thanks for the games, the commentators/fans were so excited that even my gf came over and watched the game and got into it because you did so well. Cheers :D

Ive always been impressed with your play and attitude towards the event. tbh you provide a thrill to a tournament that almost no1 else does, but what i wanted to say that i mostly enjoyed your great sportsmanship and attitude this entire event

The semis and the finals were some of the most entertaining games of Sc2 i've seen in a long long time. Nanni plays unbelievably when under pressure and it's his fault the edge of my seat is wore out lol!
The highlight for me was Nanni smacking Life down after the proxy hatches calling for him to get out of the game. IMO nanni should have the title/nickname of the Tenacious Toss :D Keep it up, will be cheering for him always!
