The guy got 2-4ed by Life, came back from a 0-2 against Hyun and showed some amazing build orders and macro builds in both his losing and winning games, how can you not respect him ater this tournament.

great performance!!

And also, according to wikipedia Revival forfeited his spot in the first stage of challenger league (perhaps because he is changing region for next season? Or because he traveled to New York for IEM? (would have played on the 9'th) ), which means he can at the most tie it up with Naniwa at 3200 points if he participates and advances in the group stage!

does anyone know what happens if people are tied for the 16'th spot in the ranking?

Don't be too hard on yourself, Naniwa! You played fantastic and provided with so much excitment and entertainment for so many people over the weekend. I would not be surprised if YOU single handedly added upwards of 20k viewers to the streams from the semi finals and onwards.

That final was absolutely amazing! I haven't watched Sc2 in a while but this final was definitely refreshing to say the least.
Such an equal performance by booth players really a shame that Naniwa didn't win...

Thank you for giving us fantastic games this weekend, Naniwa! It probably feels really crappy right now, but hopefully in time you'll be able to look back at this 2nd Place with some pride. Also, I hope you felt all the love from your fans. Keep fighting! <3

Really cool play this weekend, wonderful to see. I hoped he'd be able to get out of his group, at least, and then he almost takes the entire tournament. Hope he doesn't beat himself up too much, his play was spectacular and he managed to give the Blizzcon dream some wind in its sails as well.

We have a 50% chance of BlizzCon still, players above NaNiwa and players who can't surpass him make it happen pls!

EDIT: Also, let's just wait until NaNiwa wins DH Winter :D

So with that great IEM NY result by NaNi he now sits in 15th position in the standings.

The three biggest threats is soO, Scarlett and HyuN.

soO: If he gets 1st place in Korea he needs to finish at least 5-8th in the season finals. If he gets 2nd in Korea he needs to finish at least 3-4th in the season finals

Scarlett: If she gets 5-6th place in AM premier she only needs to finish at least 9-12th in the season finals. If she get 3-4th place in AM premier that is enough.

HuyN: Same as with Scarlett. 5-6th in AM premier and at least 9-12th in the finals, or at least 3-4 in the AM premier.

We also have Revival who can get tied with NaNiwa in points if he get top 2 in his AM challenger leauge group, Don't know how a tied situation will be solved.
