[edited] I also hope that he will go to Dreamhack, but still, I think he is safe for Blizzcon. Not 100%, but he is more safe then not. There need to be 5 players who make more points then naniwa. He is on position 12 atm.(with 4 players he will be 16). To get top8 in your region you get at least 500 points. (Now.. Nani is qualified at IEM top 16 .. that is 75 points so he actually already has 2750 points. ) Now take a look who is behind him: 1. Maru, 2.duckdeok,3. MC, 4.rain,5.ForGG, 6.Scarllet,7. First, 8.TLO,9.Stepahno adn 10. Alicia. Maru, duckdeok, MC and Rain are qualified atm, so even if they make points this will put nani on position 16 and not lower. Scarllet, TLO and Stephano are out from making points in WCS. So what is left if ForGG, First and Alicia. So assuming all players 13-16 will make points and take over naniwa.. that means ForGG or First needs to be TOP8 in season 3. First has 550 points less then naniwa, which means he needs to make top4 or so. Alicia is way behind.. he needs actually to take 1st or 2nd place in WCS NA. So the only real contender is ForGG The only real contender to take his place in top 16 in First or ForGG. ForGG has a good shot making RO8 WCS EU even further. But even so all the players between ForGG and Naniwa 13-16 needs to make points, this means 5 players from 5 need to qualify in next stages.. if even 1 of them is not, then naniwa is safe.
Also if someone outside top 20 will win WCS NA EU KR can mess up things for him.. but that is not probable also.. The only real contenders are from my point of view is Hyun for NA. (but he needs to beat Polt Taeja Hero... at least.. .) Current standing: 12 NaNiwa Europe 2675 13 Maru Korea 2625 14 duckdeok Europe 2500 15 MC Europe 2375 16 Rain Korea 2350 17 ForGG Europe 2150 1 17 Scarlett America 2150 out 19 First Korea 2125 2 20 TLO Europe 2100 out 21 Stephano Europe 2025 out 22 Alicia America 1850 3

Jarod, I am trying to read your post, but it's tough. Could you format it is so that it is easier to read? All the ... and line breaks are making it really hard to follow.

Jarod, don´t forget, that Alicia did´nt requalify for Code S, so he is basically out of the picture, if he does´nt win DH Bucharest AND IEM NY. TLO down yesterday was a good start for Nani and now Jjakji is helping him out as well; winning the first match against first.

You are forgetting that by placing top 5 in eu and korea, and top 6 in NA you will also qualify for season 3 finals.. which gives everyone attending 500 points as well.
So lets say alicia finishes in 5th pace, he will then be garantueed atleast 500+500 points which puts him above naniwa.
So basicly, we dont want 5 players with 1750+ points to finish in top 5 (or 6 in na). Having already qualified players like Maru or duckdeok go far could also be a problem, as then NaNiwa would drop down and less peope would have to break into top 16 to knock naniwa down.

Xoronius is right. Alicia is in challengers league. So he is out.. and hopefully also First will be out. If first is out then ForGG can win EU :D.

edit: the game seems laggy. cant believe alliance cant buy him a computer >.<

I'm like, yay Naniwa streaming :D. Then I see his opponent has a forge and 2 cannons at the top of his main ramp . Fair enough though Naniwa, still gets you stream viewers and fulfils your contract :p.

He's doing placement matches. Not his fault that the game starts him off against bad players.
