Seriously though, I think you went overboard on the reportage, Parcelleus. But, meh, it's done, now.

I'm not sure how bad it is now as expectations of Idra, and I think this an accurate statement, are a lot less than they used to be. (I haven't been in that thread for a long time.) But a little while ago going into that thread after an Idra loss, or "event", was good for the lols (at least for a disinterested observer). The Naniwa fan club has it comparatively easy.

Looking forward to follow you through another GSL soon though, Naniwa fighting! This is the most ridiculous excuse I've ever read.

I'm quoting this person, but I understand this is a more widespread problem in the Naniwa thread. The report feature is to draw the attention of a moderator to a bad post. It's not meant to be a weapon to further fuel arguments by publically announcing that a person is, has or should be reported. "Reported" is useless spam that serves no other purpose then to needle the other person. "Haha. I got you good." Just report bad posts and move on.

You do understand that there HAS to be some reason why a back-to-back Code S RO8 player performed so poorly, especially in the matchups that he's normally pretty good at. Nobody starts playing badly for no reason and nobody becomes bad overnight. Whether you choose to look at those reasons (or assumed reasons) as excuses or not is your prerogative.

Yeah, it wasn't that he lost but it was the manner of his losses that were mystifying. I mean he played worse than I've ever seen him, even when he was just laddering it up. Also, on the whole JYP controversy, it's not as to whether it affected Nani or not, it was just pretty weird behaviour from JYP. Regardless of whether it tilted Nani or not, it's not particularly edifying. Even Sase, who's supposedly pretty close to Nani waited until after his games to pop into his booth at GSL. Nani gets a bad rep and has so many people just waiting to laugh at him whenever he loses, quite distasteful really.

Losing twice to players you're way better than (JonnyRecco and Aures) is easier than you think. TaeJa dropped 2 games to Bischu, on another day that could have been a Bischu 2-0 TaeJa upset. Bomber dropped maps to Delfi and Bly, and MVP dropped a map to Targa, if they can drop 1 map they could have dropped 2 on another day. Naniwa was probably on tilt really badly because of the pressure of finding a new team burdening him.
