The 17-20 seeds are korean invites...

Edit: That being said, Thorzain is totally awesome and I hope enough people don't go to Anaheim so he gets seeded because he deserves it

You know you never know that Thorzain would of beaten MC when they met again if MC wasn't up 2 games he probably would of played differently.

You mean play better? Heh heh..I didn't see the games, but I assume he wouldn't take risks if it were a clean slate, so maybe that would've had a bearing?

I guess having to go through the open brackets can be pretty horrible.

MLG system could easily be much better simply by changing the seeding method. Just decrease the pool seeding to 12 (+4 korean) and increase the open bracket seeding to 8. Then out-of-date player can be quickly removed by new promising players. Problem solved.

Yeah he said something about not having any chair to sit on between matches. So he basically had to stand up for hours and hours.

Well on the first day we played until 3 AM and had to be at the venue again at 9-10 the next day, so we could only sleep for around 5 hours.

Their schedule wasn't followed at all. It could say that you would play in 5 minutes when you in fact would play in 55 minutes. It could also say that you had to play in 1 hour but you could have to play in 5 minutes. That lead to the constant fear of leaving the venue because even if it said that it was an hour until the next match i risked being DQd every time i left.

Also we werent very well respected by the admins. For example when i was gonna play vs qxc in the open bracket I had just finished another bo3 and was called to go play vs him. I went to the station and just said that I had to go to the bathroom and get something to drink because I was dehydrated (There was only dr.pepper in the venue and since it was unsafe to leave that's all i drank that day), but they told me I wasn't allowed to and had to play immediately, even though the game wasn't showed anywhere. There were no time to warm up before any of the games, we only had time to do our settings and then jump right in the game, even at those times we were ahead of schedule.

The only break we had was on the first day, friday, for around 1 hour. There were no breaks on Saturday or Sunday so I couldn't even eat. All i had on Sunday was french fries which i bought right after one of my games at the food court just outside the hall, and even then I was told that I was late when i returned.

At the last day, Sunday, i bought a lot of water and had in my backpack so that made it a lot easier, and made me actually able to play good on that day.

Some guys that have been at other MLGs told me that it was the worst MLG so far, organization-wise.

The seeded players had it better, they had computers to play on, places to sit and water and food inside the venue. Of course it's understandable that they can't do that for everyone in the open bracket, so I'm not complaining about that.

That's why I probably won't go to MLG Anaheim unless I'm seeded.
Thanks to Roberi for taking care of my TL fanclub! Also a thanks to all my fans in and outside my TL fanclub :). Fighting~~!

Well judging from your recent results (TSL and MLG) , the fact that MMA said your the person he believes could do good in GSL and this post with everything taken into account, if they don't seed u for the next MLG is extremely bad PR for them and will serve as a definitive proof of everything you just said about their organization.

So looking forward to watching you demolish at Anaheim.

Wow, I had no idea that it was that bad for open bracket players.

Hope you somehow get seeded into Anaheim, would love to see you in more tournaments!

They can't just seed him simply because they want to and it's good PR. They have a system and they have to follow it or it becomes grossly unfair to everyone.

Sucks that the experience was so shoddy for you Thorzain. But I really hope you'll reconsider your decision; perhaps message MLG and let them be aware of the issues? I'm sure someone as prestigious as you will get a message through and MLG has proven that they are more than willing to listen to the complaints of the fans and players after Dallas.

You're a huge fan favourite and skipping out on Anaheim would rob all of us of a great player that we are excited to see.

On behalf of all your fans, please try to contact MLG to see if you can get through to them that player conditions have to be improved. If they don't listen, then fair enough; no one should have to go through something that tiring/harsh. But we would reeeeeeeaaaaaaaaally reeeeeeeeaaaaaaally love to see you play.

You should really reconsider skipping Anaheim. Like you said, if you prepare with having water etc around, or even just asking a fan to go buy something to eat for you, you should be ok to go. Since you did ok at last MLG, just doing good again in 1 more will mean that you come into top 16 and get that seeding. From there on, you never have to go through the open bracket again since you'll always be seeded. That is if you dont play terribly bad at upcoming MLGs, but that won't be an issue since you are awesome.

Or maybe he should do what the fellows above are saying, no joke, have some Fan peons help you out. You dealt with peons in the past, I'm sure you don't mind. If I was going I would help, it probably wouldn't be much.

Well there is always the seating/computer time issue. Atleast the peans would solve the timing/food issues.

Wow that's horrible. I understand they have scheduling problems with the unpredictable game lengths, but they need to schedule universal breaks so you can leave the area from time to time ..

And not providing chairs and food & beverage diversity? lol

Yeah, don't attend unless you get seeded or a written promise that things will be better catered.
