Goody is such a strong player it makes me sad that nobody can see his strenghs commentators and top-players laughing about his mechanics but nobody understands that this is the core of his strong play. i ndont want to make a 4 side theorycraft article and me english is very bad sorry for that but i want to explain in a couple of short words why he is so good and why is not top10 world. 1. he has most effective macro/mechanics in the entire sc2 world ! dont laugh nobody maybe understand 2. his decision making is like a grandmaster chess player ...brilliant 3. his weakness is his poor multitasking he cant do 4 fights the same time as korean 4. his second weakness is he is not so fast at clicking like other world top gamers i try to explain point 1 a bit a) goody very often build units in queue like 3 tanks in 3 factorys experts follow a in stone written rule that this is stupid ITS NOT for example he wants 9 more tanks to do a 160 supply push -- all top players will click 3 times to build new tanks and they will miss some seconds at the end they have 6-8 tanks at the time they want. -- goody clicks 1 TIME and he has 9 tanks in the fastest way possible! and if, and this is very rare, he must follow another plan he cancel with one click. he is outsorcing clicktime and uses it to think  clicktime into braintimeb) all laugh about supply blocked has everyone a clue at what times supply block is bad as terran hmmm -- in the very early game its very bad ( goody is never blocked that time) -- if a very big push comes in and you want some more units fast maybe but this 2-3 units wont decide gane in 99% of the cases ... ... overall the stone written rule "SUPPLY BLOCK is bad" is not true generally in some special cases yes ...all times NO ok i can go in detail but its so hard to type in english :D i think Goody is laughing at home about all the casters and topgamers who make jokes about his mechanics. he knows that this is his strenghs he is one of a few guys that totally understand whow sc2 works the other wonder themselves make jokes and understand nothing following iron rules made in other games 10 years ago i have watched about 100 and more goody games and i want to know why he is so strong and finally i understand | ||
