I hope you're talking about not dropping a single game. To entertain the notion of losing the series is blasphemy.

He is smart and hell, do not under estimate him, watch how he may just build some new foundations for different matchups.

But I'd like to get other fans' opinions on this: is Grubby cut out for the SC2 scene? I have no doubt that he'll eventually--with practice, of course--become competitive, but at the moment he's having an awful showing in the NASL. On the other hand, Moon is at least keeping pace. (Don't interpret this as a Grubby vs Moon comment, more like a comparison to other WC3 players.) He's had some good wins against DeMuslim and Nerchio, but what is going on in the NASL???

Grubby was featured in a Day9 daily (#270). Why not add it to the OP?

SC2 is just practice and I think given that he's competed on the top level in WC3 (and dominated) that he'll be able to reach the level he needs to in time. He just needs to focus on practicing. The problem I foresee for him is the lack of practice partners. I'm not sure why many pro-level players waste their time on the ladder as when I watch them, they aren't really fleshing out a strategy or getting any particular valuable experience in any MU. I wouldn't say he's having a completely awful showing in the NASL, given that out of everyone he's competed against, he's had the least amount of time to adjust to the game and have a full grasp of it. I don't want him to ride on that excuse or make that excuse for him, as his play has been subpar but I wouldn't put him up there with say, LGPainusers or STRainbow. I thought his showing was going to be absolutely amazing considering his opening series with Moon, it's easily still one of the best series so far in the NASL. He already has a very unique play style, it's just right now I think he's trying to find out where he fits with protoss as I've seen him flip flop between his style, "standard" toss, and a terrible combination of the two that he seems to implement in the middle of a game based on a read. I wish he'd go back to his Dark / High Templar based play and start using Warp Prisms again, I know it's a lot to ask but it's something we don't see enough of and I feel like he played better with this style then when he's tried to conform to the conventional protoss play. I'd say once he gets an effective practice routine ironed out, starts fleshing out some of his strategies, and he figures out his style of play we'll see Grubby in dominate form. As said with his mass laddering, I think he needs to join a team again and/or get some good practice partners. Alot of it is confidence, once he gets a few tourny wins under his belt he'll probably play alot better.

I don't think Grubby expected to be a top player within 4 months of him starting to play the game and neither should we expect him to. He still is one of the better protosses in EU allready in such a competetive game like this but with a few more months of practice I'm sure he'll catch up.
