I kinda hope some team would take interest in MKP... I mean, I like prime a lot, but a team like SlayerS would really let him develop as a player. Why did he turn down I'M again?
The amount of time him and mvp would spend together might hinder his progression as a player.

Because he is friends with players in the prime team. I don't think hes gonna leave especially after all this time, I'm sure many teams have an interest in him, hes both popular and skilled...

It's a joke. MVP and MKP used to seem like the bromance couple for SC2. Haven't seen them together much lately though then again we haven't seen either player a lot I guess.

Well I think he didn't take yugiho serious enough. I can't see another reason for his crazy gameplay, especially in game 1. I can't really tell where to put jjakji, but I would generally say, he shouldn't be stronger than hack. But MKP has to start taking every single opponent seriously. He can afford losing due to stupid builds anymore.

To people worried about his play, don't forget that MKP's weakness has always been that he can't handle the pressure well enough, and overconfidence (remember Polt's interview? MKP told him to not be overconfident...). I'm pretty sure that the risk of being down to code B when you have been at the top for so long, and the risk of staying in code A without even have a chance of battling in Up&Down affected his play, especially since TvT changed a lot. This is why I'm confident that MKP will play at his best in code A right now and hopefully destroys Jjakji and his next opponents. With DRG out it will be a lot easier for him to win code A, Yoda & GanZi are not that good TvT and MKP has Leenock number.

I agree with most of your post but he hasn't really played well this Code A. Maybe in comparison to other players, but not compared to himself. He was once easily at the top with the big 3. I really hope he practiced a lot for this match because his opponent is very good at TvtT I feel like he's the better overall player but with the TvT changes, one mistake vs BFH and you lose.

MKP has his hands full Jjakji is a complete beast.

I will have to agree with my friend and colleague MechKing in saying that if MKP doesn't take jjakji seriousluy, it might be his downfall. Jjakji is someone people in korea talk about as being possibly the best terran right now, he is much stronger than hack. Looking forward to some entertaining games tonight!

MKP hwaiting!!
I agree with some folks here, playing against Jjakji would be an important stepping stone for him.
Go go MKP <3

Ro8 spoiler ahead
+ Show Spoiler +All right!!!! I think he played well today, even with mech! Game 1 was a rape, really well executed marine tank push. Games 2 and 3 were closer, bu I feel it's always close with mech. I also think game 3 must give him a lot of confidence since he won with mech against his own old bio build!
I'm so happy and relieved. MKP Fighting! Go win code A!

gogo mkp! His TvZ is his best matchup by far so his games against the zvt monster leenock are going to be awesome !

+ Show Spoiler +I'm happy that MKP won but I think that against good terrans his game 1 build won't work : Jjakji could have killed him right away when he had only 1 tank and the medivac was out of position with some split+focus fire if he wasn't that indecisive, he knew it was 1base siege push.
His mech play is not refined enough yet, he seems to really dislike this playstyle :/ his fast-kill decision making would have won him game 1 if he was in the same position as Jjakji but he is too impatient for mech :s.
I'm not worried for his matches because he will work hard :D and that Leenock loses everytime to him, but zerg is stronger than ever so it may be hard

was his game played today?

I think his problem is, that he easiely becomes overconfident. The manner he nearly threw game 3 away, after essentially winning was unbelievable. I mean he's playing this game up to 10hours a day and doesn't know that unsieged tanks suck against stimmed marauders? JESUS! Hope he's tanking leenock seriously from the first to the last second of the match. Then he has a very good chance of winning, but if not he will be poorly crushed .

+ Show Spoiler +As a big fan, MarineKing's Code A games have been making my head hurt. He's been fortunate enough that all of his opponents have been making very questionable decisions against him.
Game 1 tonight showed him in such refined form. THAT was the MKP I became a fan of. But god damn, both game 2 and 3 really gave me a headache.
