Some other big names left as well, but he's looking in good shape. 2nd NEWS! MKP will compete in Europe! Yes, he'll be attending IEM Cologne @ Gamescom next week. Think I might just go and say hi I hope he takes it! EDIT: changed to correct time Wow nice hes in the finals for gosu invitational. Hopefully he wins yet another small tournament.
I don't know why he does so bad in the team leagues & GSL when hes winning absolutely everything else at the moment. and its not like hes only facing bad foreigners either, there are other top koreans in those events.
Maybe he has trouble with nerves/pressure of performing for the team, despite his experience.

that was so sloppy in the gsl ro16... i cant belive he actually won. GOod thing yugiyo played even worse.

He played sloppy in both Ro32 and 16. God damn, it hurts me as an MKP fan to see him playing like this.

Shaky day but still in up/down
MKP FIGHTING!!!!!

It's Gosu Invitational #1 update: + Show Spoiler +He took Silver! Lost 3-1 to Ryung. A pretty decent result if you consider the other players in the tournament.
I didn't see the Code A matches as I'm at work, were they any good?

Oh god. Did you watch his Ro32 match? Yeah, it's kind of like that. Except it involves Zerg running a bunch of Banelings into Siege Tanks. Multiple times.
Very sloppy play by MKP in all games. Its the games that kind of hurt you as a fan if you have high expectations of MKP.

Considering Ryung is only good at TvT and it's by far MarineKing's worst matchup it's not too surprising really
and yea he didn't play too amazing today but I don't know, he has shown amazing play in the other tournaments he has attended it just seems he has lost faith in himself in the GSL.
At least he won!

Dunno if that's confirmed or not but MarineKing won't attend IEM to focus more on GSL Code A & GSTL. "MKP declined the invite according to today's interview. He decided to focus on GSL code-a and GSTL." dunno which interview it is since PlayXP don't do it anymore. Bad news & good news at the same time : we won't see MKP overseas destroying a bunch of foreigners but he is taking GSL very seriously and is training hard. He probably wants to win it (I mean he is in Up&Down he could have gone to IEM but if not that means he really wants to win code A, not qualify in up&down).
And even if I like ThorZain I'm happy that he didn't advance, because seriously his sick air build could have beaten MarineKing (who struggles already against the mech trend, so a build unexpected like that could have done wonders...) :/.

Confirmed.... I asked him on his twitter and he said he's very sad about IEM... As it looks, he won't be competing in NASL either... so sad!
Your positive note to your post is a really good sign though. I felt like he didn't really put much effort in gsl lately. I think he s been preoccupied with other tournaments like FXOIS, KOTH, NASL, CPL, Sk championship, etc. I think his full nights playing affect his game.
At least now he'll train specifically for his next match again, and we know what happens then, right?
But still... IEM would've been awesome... Let's hope he gets invited to an MLG

If any of you guys watch MKP play in code A, its embarresing. Don't watch.

His control was still good
but yes, the games were atrocious. I hope with him focusing on just one opponent instead of all the different tournaments he'll start playing the way he used to, it's really sad to see him so far off his own level.

Speciale the games vs YuGiOh weer very bad.... I'm just glad his opponent couldn't handle the pave of the game...
I kinda hope some team would take interest in MKP... I mean, I like prime a lot, but a team like SlayerS would really let him develop as a player. Why did he turn down I'M again?
