As for the Prime situation, perhaps moving to other teams is the best decision for the players. As far as I know Prime practices primarily on the ladder. Not only does the Kespa way of practicing seem superior, they are also a lot more financially stable which of course makes for a better practice environment. Oh well, I guess time will tell.

PrimeTV could have been profitable for them, but they did a pretty shoddy job of it and abandoned it after a month with no notice. It's kinda depressing, and I'll be surprised if they are around by the end of the year :/

I would be sad to see Prime break up as well, but keep in mind that Prime is a clan, not a team. Clans are things where a bunch of friends join together and play - it just so happened that Prime clan in early SC2 just happened to have a bunch of good players. They're not set up as a team, with good coaching and practice, but just as a house where they get together and grind games. I mean, Gerrard spends most of him time working with the primezzang website haha. I mentioned BW clans like [name], [jOin], fOu and by. and I don't think Prime is any different from that. It took a few years for BW clan-teams to die and out for real pro-teams to take over, and that's where I think this would come in. PartinG and MKP are actually best friends haha. Nothing wrong with them being on the same team, MKP was the one who actually persuaded PartinG to pick up SC2. I think we'll see plenty of the players if they join KeSPA teams - there's so much SPL on, and there's still WCS which is the entire year. I don't think MKP or Creator will try out for WCS NA/EU since that list released is pretty much it, I guess? I expect all the Prime players to stay in Korea. If you guys want to see Prime stay together, then see if Najin does end up picking Prime. If they were serious about getting in SC2, there's not many Koreans teams they could actually pick up. Hopefully they bring a nice environment and stability to the team, as well as more players and coaching. My sources for this stuff are me paying attention to the scene, talking with prime players now and then, masterbreti (though he doesn't say much directly) and that guy on 4chan who leaked WCS stuff. In the end, if you guys have paid attention to the scene and heard the rumblings, it should be no surprise that Prime is in trouble. Whether they disband or merge or get bought out, we should all be proud that we were Prime fans when they were the best, and continue supporting the individual players!

They only have one sponsor afaik (I thought they had the clothing business but I see now that it's no longer on the foreign primezzang site) and they don't do much for TTesports really. PrimeTV could have been profitable for them, but they did a pretty shoddy job of it and abandoned it after a month with no notice. It's kinda depressing, and I'll be surprised if they are around by the end of the year :/ They actually does alot for TT esports, as they are fairly active in TW (TT is Taiwanese and is not as active in NA/EU as other companies). But it's not realistic to expect TT to support them solely as it's not a huge company.

I guess if Coach Park picks some up, that might work - but I am not sure how far EG's SPL plans go in the future? On the other hand the team has the greatest teamspirit I've seen so far in SC2. I really hope the team stays together. If they need to merge with another team, that's fine. But please don't split up!

It's obvious they aren't in the greatest shape financially, but they are definately not dead yet. Some poor performances by Creator and Marineking (and Creator so far did only perform poorly in one matchup while being very stable in the other two) don't mean the team will disband. We saw a strong performance by Byun in the GSTL already. I'm convinced that Maru will deliver in Code S. The only thing that can be really criticized is the weak Zerg lineup of the team and that's hurting the vZ practice of the other players. If the team is being ran off of MKP and Creator's winnings that's completely unfair to them and the team should just disband. They earned that money and it should be theirs to spend or save, not used to save their team.
