This is completely false. There are tons of excellent players, and watching a player play has nothing to do with perception of skill. Regularly feeding in Silver League does. League is just not Steven's forte; he isn't good at it.

Please know that juvenile tactics like that don't work in substitute of an actual response. Draven scales near double on autos with AD, so rushing pre-nerf BT on him was near the level of lane cheese because it was so abusive.

You sound like the type who gets mad at video games.

League of Legends is ten player game with two teams of five players. To single out one player for rushing one item and call it "cheese" because his Q has the potential to deal a lot of damage is so myopic it borders on absurd. Maybe you have bad memories of trying to lane against a Pantheon with five Black Cleavers. I feel bad for you son. But that's a completely different situation than what we're talking about, and that only lasted for a couple of days. Getting mad at people for building a Bloodthirster first as part of their build?

As for the rest of your post, stating "well my opinion is correct, I certainly don't do that" isn't a response.

None of this addresses any of my points, and is a ball of arguably poorly conceived ad hominems and hyperbole.

you guys are so cute <3

Glad to see you playing sc2 again, Destiny. I'm not much into LoL at all and there aren't any sc2 stream out there quite like yours used to be.

I'll definitely try to tune in whenever I see you playing hots!

Why don't people give credit where it's due

You should probably include at least a few specific examples of what you mean, otherwise I don't really know what you are talking about and have no real option to disagree or agree with you.

BTW - from what I've read from people who have followed Destiny's transition away from SC2 more closely than I have, his move was largely motivated by financial issues, and LoL streamers get more viewers, and potentially can have 2x, 4x, 8x as many viewers than SC2 streamers.

unranked matches, improved battle.net, unproved battle.net community, improved chat, HotS is much more streamlined for the casual player etc

This is implying that none of it was actually planned for HotS. Which it with most certainty was.

It wasn't publicly released when destiny was talking about it

So does that mean that Destiny "called it" or brought about the decision to implent them?

It means that the problems he brought up sc2 was dismissed by the majority of the community as being ridiculous

and now everyone is riding blizzards dick for fixing the things everyone said wasn't a problem when they were brought up by Destiny

That's silly. There's been many of us that have been calling it Battlenet 0.2 for some time for many of these reasons and so did Destiny. But to say he was the lone figure at the time is some pretty sketchy memory at best.

Correct me if my memory fails me, but this is how I remember it. Destiny went on a talk show stream (I can't remember it's name but it's pretty fucking popular, the fact that I'm forgetting its name proves how little I've been following sc2 up until now) and basically said that SC2 was going to die off. I remember that Idra was there and Idra was rude to him and told him to go play LoL (this was before Destiny switched to LoL full-time).

Flames erupted from both sides, there was some drama, yada yada yada. I especially remember much of the community being unhappy with Destiny as he said that the game was going to die if changes didn't occur. This turned into a sort of community vs Destiny type situation, which leads to him being "a lone figure" at that time.

http://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/11m21k/starcraft_2_will_be_dead_before_legacy_of_the/

Some of the key points that Destiny talked about were already there. Blizzard has indeed made several changes that are akin to Destiny's suggestions. I wouldn't really say Blizzard made these changes because they saw Destiny's reddit post. I think what really happened is that Blizzard being Blizzard, they looked for ways to make their game better. They saw the success LoL and Dota were having and tried to implement some of the things they saw there in SC2.

Hence, it's not really Blizzard acting on Destiny's suggestions; what describes the situation much more accurately is both Destiny and Blizzard drawing similar conclusions based off of observing successful games.
