Last time I saw him playing LoL, he was 1450 elo. Now he is 2300 or something diamond. Did he get boosted? He got PL'd to death yeah, but that's another story.

To single out one player for rushing one item and call it "cheese" because his Q has the potential to deal a lot of damage is so myopic it borders on absurd. Maybe you have bad memories of trying to lane against a Pantheon with five Black Cleavers. I feel bad for you son. But that's a completely different situation than what we're talking about, and that only lasted for a couple of days. Getting mad at people for building a Bloodthirster first as part of their build? As for the rest of your post, stating "well my opinion is correct, I certainly don't do that" isn't a response. None of this addresses any of my points, and is a ball of arguably poorly conceived ad hominems and hyperbole.

I'm not much into LoL at all and there aren't any sc2 stream out there quite like yours used to be. I'll definitely try to tune in whenever I see you playing hots!

But to say he was the lone figure at the time is some pretty sketchy memory at best. Correct me if my memory fails me, but this is how I remember it. Destiny went on a talk show stream (I can't remember it's name but it's pretty fucking popular, the fact that I'm forgetting its name proves how little I've been following sc2 up until now) and basically said that SC2 was going to die off. I remember that Idra was there and Idra was rude to him and told him to go play LoL (this was before Destiny switched to LoL full-time). Flames erupted from both sides, there was some drama, yada yada yada. I especially remember much of the community being unhappy with Destiny as he said that the game was going to die if changes didn't occur. This turned into a sort of community vs Destiny type situation, which leads to him being "a lone figure" at that time. http://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/11m21k/starcraft_2_will_be_dead_before_legacy_of_the/ Some of the key points that Destiny talked about were already there. Blizzard has indeed made several changes that are akin to Destiny's suggestions. I wouldn't really say Blizzard made these changes because they saw Destiny's reddit post. I think what really happened is that Blizzard being Blizzard, they looked for ways to make their game better. They saw the success LoL and Dota were having and tried to implement some of the things they saw there in SC2. Hence, it's not really Blizzard acting on Destiny's suggestions; what describes the situation much more accurately is both Destiny and Blizzard drawing similar conclusions based off of observing successful games.
