For those who don't know - during the week of April 17th I had a match against TT1 for NASL. I wasn't able to play my match due to extenuating circumstances which I am going to explain here.

As part of my schedule while studying abroad in Madrid we have 'Semana Santa' which is basically spring break but because I live in university supplied housing I am required to vacate for the duration of the time. As such I knew I would be traveling and would have limited - if any internet + starcraft 2 access for that match.

Around 2 weeks in advance I emailed one of the NASL admins and explained my situation. I asked if it would be possible to play before or after my break when I was back in Madrid. They said no and asked that I find some way to play my match on the given date (in the middle of my break). I found an internet cafe in Granada that I could play from but figured I wouldn't be able to play on NA due to no localizer. NASL admin said that we would probably be okay to play on EU which I took to mean yes.

On the given date of my match I went to the cafe at the proper time and logged in. TT1 said that the lag on his end was unplayable. NASL declared that I had to play on NA. This wasn't possible since I could not use the relocalizer and being in Granada (south of Spain) I didn't know anyone I could ask for use of their computer. NASL gave me one day to play my match which wasn't enough time as I couldn't return to my housing until several days later. So I got a forfeit loss.
