I'm sorry Incontrol, but seriously just stop. Halo fans and Starcraft fans have one huge thing in common - we are both massively passionite about the games we play. Both games have a deep history and we are both striving to make more memories, insane moments, etc. Right now, the Halo community and Halo is not dead. We have sights like The Halo Council who are working to be just like Team Liquid, a website dedicated to all things Halo. I write articles for the site, and we are always looking to improve and look to Team Liquid for things you guys do right because the site is exellent and I have improved as a fan and player from the site and for that I thank you all at TL What is dead is Reach, which by many Halo fans myself included isnt even a real Halo game because it had so many problems, and so many things added that aren't real Halo elements. I'm posting this because I'm done with biting my tongue and sitting back letting people make jokes about "Halo is dead and over at MLG" Because guess what, its not dead by any means. Halo Reach in 2011 was a pile of junk (to put it without cursing) and now in 2012 Halo has no backing as far as sponsors go so we can't be at MLG events. If there was support, we would be and in a big way. Incontrol did you forget Columbus? When theards were on /r/starcraft that Halo fans were being louder than the SC2 fans, or the Halo fans were making an impact? Yea how quick you are to forget, again, whether its a joke or not. I'm gonna clear some of the air also - Halo fans do not hate the Starcraft fans. A lot of us play Starcraft, watch Starcraft, watch GSL and pro league. A lot of us really enjoy Starcraft. Halo Pro Player Ryanoob is a high masters Zerg who plays a lot of online tournaments and watches a lot of Starcraft is just one example. A lot of animosity from the Halo fans is with MLG and what happened in 2011, which is a long and complicated story I would have to make a big thread on to explain. As for Halo fans who don't like Starcraft, its just like trying food, you don't like what you have never tried an might be defensive about doing so. Some people have tried it, and just don't like, its just not for them, but don't go saying "Well SC2 sucks, fuck the community, fuck the pros, fuck the casters" Some do yes, but my point is a lot of Halo fans, again myself included, are Starcraft fans but always for Halo first and foremost. I'm sick of people taking shots at Halo - and heres the truth - without Halo competitive gaming might not be where it is today. This is not me being biased, its just true. Sorry for the rant but hopefully this clears somethings from the pov of a Halo and Starcraft fan, thank you. Edit - fixed the s word list comment. It was too difficult for me "leave" wc3 because it was more and more dying, sc2 killed everyone. I have to accept this way, even i miss wc3 yet.

I have been playing Halo since I was 9 years old, all the way back to Halo 1. I've been a Starcraft 2 fan since the game came out, and I was Incontrol fan but no longer. Why? Because his tweet earlier wasnt the first time hes taking shots at Halo and now its just plain old. Does he think the Halo fans are happy about the current state of Halo? Not at all, and we are looking forward already to 2013 and Halo 4. I'm sorry Incontrol, but seriously just stop. Tweet was a joke because earlier people flipped out when I joked about halo. SPOILER: Will joke about h alo in the future as well. I am still a fan of people that get mad though so I think we are cool <3
