Not very smart IMO, complacency isn't good and you know Seed has to have been practicing 12 hours a day for this. MC already said in an interview he believes PvP is mostly luck and BO wins. so while he is obviously practicing build orders and studying Seed. He said he wants to focus on relaxing more and going into the finals healthy with a good mindset as opposed to needlessly grinding out mass games and tiring himself out for a match up this is pretty much a coin flip. Being rested/healthy and having a good mindset > a couple extra draining hours of practice in PvP

Being rested/healthy and having a good mindset > a couple extra draining hours of practice in PvP Agreed. Here's an interview question that Alicia answered after beating MC 2-0 in the Super Tournament: - How did you prepare for today’s match? I tried not to over-practice to minimize the chances of me overanalyzing the matchup. I tried to play metalopolis like I do on the ladder, and for crevasse and dual sight, I planned to build my cybernetics and gateways a bit quicker. When I saw that my opponent’s cybernetics went down a bit late, I knew I could win. So yeah, I'd say there's definitely some merit to MC's approach. Furthermore, it seems like DRG overprepared for his match against MC, got burnt out, and look what happened there. Sometimes, simply grinding out tons of practice hours isn't the right answer.

Agreed. In the entire length of the professional SC2 scene, there has not been one single protoss player with consistent superior control except MC. PvP is such a micro-based match up and MC's micro is without peer. Not to mention his PvP has been on fire recently. I'd give Seed one, maybe two maps max. I've nothing but confidence in MC. Three-time GSL champ incoming.

Squirtle and Genius. Squirtle because, whereas MC can turn coinflip losses into wins, Squirtle somehow nearly always manages to win the coinflips. Genius because he avoids the coinflips entirely and just throws the weirdest mindgamey shit at you until you give up on reality.
