Well he has a really hard road to follow for his third GSL, he his playing against 2nd placed player of group D. this could be either nestea or DRG. And after that he will most likely have to face MMA. Even if you consider that TvP is MMAs worst matchup he is still a sick monster to deal with. But I've got my fingers crossed for the BossToss.

He is a great player for sure but so is Mc. Also, unlike most ppl, I do believe if Mc wins his ro8 match, he will have a 50% chance of facing alive which in my opinion is an even harder opponent overall. If Mc does have to play against a zerg in ro8, I hope Coca can help him practice. But anyways, let us enjoy the games from GroupD today first. Should be good games.

His PvP looked awful. He's always done well out of his game understanding/plans and clutch decision making. Neither of those are as important in PvP as straight up micro skills, which MC far outclasses him in. Then again, it is PvP. And Genius has looked pretty good in general, recently. Who knows?

MC favored 55% 45% but MC's PvP is not good as Oz or InCa's. everything can happen against Genius...

But I think overall we do not see Genious play many pvp lately while Mc has showed his pvp skills many times lately. I am happy Genius made it to ro8 tho, he is a good player and I would love to see Mc prove his pvp again in codeS. Can not wait for the ro8 games. They are all looking good and I look forward to seeing Mc make it to the ro4 again.

I don't know where you got 55% from, lol. MC's currently >75% in PvP Korea. http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/details.php?section=sc2-korean&type=players&id=640&part=games&league=standard&vs=P _____ On a less analytical note, just think how awesome it would be if MC won this GSL. For about a year, he has fought for Protoss through their darkest days, winning GSLs where no other Protoss could, pushing up the Protoss winrate when 1-1-1 dominated the PvT landscape, then picking himself out of his slump and coming back to Korea. Bringing the Protoss race with him. This GSL is the first GSL in over 6 months where MC has a decent chance of winning. There are 4 Protoss in the Ro8. This is the New Year. A new beginning. A new hope. MC is back. Protoss has returned. ARE YOU HYPED?
