Jjakji isn't slayers and he isn't favored against him imo. i still remember how he destroyed puzzle, it wasn't even close. he is favored against the other two, but we don't know anything about parting just that he beat puzzle yesterday who has very good pvp (i didn't see how the games were just the result) anyways the group makes me feel uneasy about mc.
Hmmm... Huk, Puma and JYP are all in SlayerS House. It is time to find out if they are friends that Mc can trust, HAHaha.. It is codeS ro16 so it is not expected to be in an easy group unless u r as good as MVP. But this is Mc and we all believe.

So has Oz, 2-0. Or maybe that was ESV, but either way: Jjakji's Bo5 vs Oz is in no way representative of his overall TvP.

i mentioned his series vs Puzzle. i'm not even saying Jjakji's unbeatable in tvp, just that it's not something to take lightly and i wouldn't consider MC the favorite, especially in gsl which is the real deal and Jjakji to me seems like someone who prepares really well for gsl matches. looking purely at results of series, puzzle beat puma 2-0 around a time when MC lost 2 bo5's to puma- still noone said even then that puzzle's better at pvt. it's a matchup that is i feel like seriously prone to metagaming/cheesing/allining etc your opponent so a lot of unexpected results happen.
also MC's looking really strong now vs terran but it wasn't so long ago when he kept losing to terran rushes. the past 1 month where he looked monstrous doesn't make me confident that he'll steamroll his group now...
but i'm rooting for him

MC vs terran is most imba matchup :D

MVPs group is way easier but other than that they are all brutal. Does anyone know where they play the RO16?

You know the new format is doing its job when people can't decide which group of death is the deathiest.
|
MVP gets the easiest group lol. If 2 Protosses were on his group he probably wouldn't have advanced

STAY the boss !!!
Keep going in code S

I think MC got a more than reasonable group. Like all SlayerS terrans Ganzi isn't much of a TvPer (lost to Mana in a Bo9) and obviously MC is confident against Ganzi since he picked him. Jjakji is among the better TvPers but he wins more due to clever builds than solid play. He himself admitted that if Oz had played standard in last season's code S semifinals he may have lost. Parting is a solid prospect and PvP is PvP but MC is still the top PvPer in Korea.

Also: anyone able to translate MC's tweets?
I tried to translate one of them using Google translate and ended up with this:
"Saesyeotseupnikka seoldeul well! As I ganeunjung jachwibang my own ... Who keeps the stomach, the ride was standing ㅡ boompa. ㅡ smell."
