I hope he can take down DRG or at least change the current metagaming of PvZ.

It is hard to downplay the fact that he 3-1'd one of the top if not the top ZvP player out there, but I am just worried if he can replicate that vs DongRaeGu.

I had not much time to practice, so i am quite satisfied with my result. I want to thank all the protoss fans and see you in gsl next year. There were so many audiences came to the studio and that made me so happy. Hope to see you more in the studio. To be honest, at the time Mc had a 2-1 lead, as a fan, I was so happy for him. But at the end of the series, he still lost. I think the reason could be like what he said here, he did not have enough time and I guess he spend his time on practicing his games on zerg favored maps, such as, dual sight and cross fire. And therefore, he did not pick up a good enough strategy to play on that best map he can hope for. Overall, I am very satisfied with Mc's performance in this tournament and this year. Comparing to the zerg god Nestea and Terran King Mvp, it is true that Mc as our protoss president achieved less than them and struggled a lot more than them. However, he is playing a race that in Korea ppl call it a depressing race and all sores of game balance issues contribute to his losses too. He did not give up, he put effort and now we all can see that the boss is recovering. To defend for Mc today's all-in. I know lot of ppl are complaining, but as far as I concerned, I believed antiga shipyard gsl version is a fair PvZ map and Mc lost a marco game on that map even though overall he played well. So no shame to use all-in and timing strategies on those zerg favored maps. Lastly, I want to say thank you Mc. It does not matter if you are the No.1 toss or not skillwise. For me, you are the No.1 toss to watch and cheer for. See you in next GSL.

MC was in really good shape imo. he would've won the series with optimal map pool. game 1 i don't know what any protoss in the world could have done vs drg's late game. and game 4 didn't help either, he did a crazy build for the lulz that would never work vs a player of drg's caliber. he did play it out, but it was never gonna work he's in boss mode now, his pvz is top notch, according to this series.

Before the match I said that they would be evenly matched and they are both super good at this match up at the moment, but not perfect. Mc said he did not have enough time to practice and I can see that. For example, On Cross fire, although it is a map toss do not like to play, I would say that if you give Mc some more time, he would find a better strategy to play on that map. Today is the 1st time I see Mc play a pvz on this map. Thx to the tough luck, Mc always needed to play his PvZ on maps like dual sight or crossfire before, which means he probably did not practice that much his pvz on that map. If he did, he should put out a much better strategy there. Last GSL, Mc only needed to play against terran. In codeA ro24, he played against terran again. And then was this tournament which he did have 2 zergs in the group with 2 bad maps. So ya, I have a reason to believe he did not practice his pvz on calm before storm well. Even DRG himself knew, If Mc played it right on that map, he was dead. Nothing was going to save him. But like he said he had no regrets. He knew overall he did well. Mc keeps saying he wanted to play against terran but luck was not with him this time. I hope he rests well and I am looking forward to watching his pvt next gsl. Also, I think part of the reason Mc did that build on Calm before the storm was because he was confident about the map so I believe next time when Mc plays a pvz on that map in gsl, we can expect him to dominate the zerg!
