- July needs to win while MC does not get to the final.
- MMA needs to get to Ro4 while MC gets knocked out in Ro8 or earlier to get ahead of MC.
So in short, it's looking good for MC on grabbing the third spot for Blizzard Cup . I've got one question. Since MVP won the Blizzcon but he's also the first at the GSL rating, will they invite the 4th player from the GSL or how will that work?
I have no idea. It could be that they take the 4th in GSL Ranking points but it could also be that they will give the spot to Sen, who finished third at Blizzcon behind MVP and NesTea.

Group A: oGs_MC (P) ZeNEX_Line (Z) TSL_Polt (T) ST_Curious (Z) IM_Mvp (T)
MC's group in AOL #2 is quite tough...all are exceptional vs Protoss. MC did quite well vs MVP in WCG however, so a 1st place result isn't too unlikely. I'm probably most excited for MC vs Polt though.

+ Show Spoiler +Great so far ^_^, Glad to see a macro game between MC and MVP, the sort of thing that I had hoped for many months back... very nice by MC, was so worried that it was gonna be a quick 1/1/1 or 4 gate or something

^thanks for the link!
his PvT still looking strong

I hope he streams frequently, he was quite sporadic with it in the past. His PvT first person is so awesome to watch though.

Yay MC is streaming again :DD

sigh, just watched 3-4 hrs of his stream in vods and I must say I really disappointed. About 70% of his game is 3 gates into 6 gates push. At least 3-4 VRs all-in game. May be 1-2 nice macro game. I think his skill is still up there, great multitasking in 1 game vs DreamMVP but the rest was just meh. Hope he could play macro more and more.

He plays a gateway heavy style versus terran and zerg, you might as well make a timing pus h with that style, and a lot of the games he plays his initial aggression outright kills his opponents. In lot of his gateway all-in games he sets up a contain and gets way ahead if he doesn't outright kill the opponent. I also noticed him 3gate robo all-in Apocalypse but every game I've seen that guy play on protoss streams he 1-1-1's or some other variation of all-in usually on one base.
Just because MC's aggressive doesn't mean he doesn't try to play macro, though sometimes he does stick on two bases longer than necessary. Huk almost always does the same thing on his stream.
Plus getting to be known for specific things can be to your benefit by making people in the GSL prepare for it. For instance, since he almost always goes stargate in PvZ, zergs are less likely to all-in him because voidray counters most of those all-ins.

Bear in mind that he doesn't want to show people his new strategies before he can use them in GSL. All his laddering is stuff we have seen before, it's just the execution that's nice to watch. If he has come up with new stuff, you'll bet your ass it isn't on stream. Personally, I can't wait to see his PvT vs sC in the Ro16 of GSL.

In the last a few days he streamed twice and plz notice the time he streamed. It was like 1 a.m. or even later than that in Korea. That means he streamed after his dayly training. After all, that is just ladder. There is nothing wrong to just have fun in the ladder after the training. Plz do not take it too serious. In the last three games he played IMMVP he played three macro games (at least intended to do). I mean MC knows when he needs to show his macro games and when he does not. After all, he does not want to show Sc and Ganzi what he is currently cappable of doing. Just like Coca, apparently throwing his game away to Oz and made Oz look good.

Let us hope that Clide gets second place in the group so that Mc only needs to prepare one MU this time.

Saw that MC was at IPL 4 Pacific and grinned. He has this one in the bag.
The only problem is how he might do when he gets back to Korea - especially given how poor their service/schedule is, apparently. If his Code S Ro16 is ruined by this tourney's bad organisation I'll be pissed
