First off, show a little more class in the way you address other people. Second of all, although there aren't really many players that have the luxury of living with some of the best players in Korea, you still have to think about your future. Sure career wise he'd probably be giving up some, but if the income he's getting is substantially higher, then I see no reason not to do it. Having a steady high income every month (plus sponsors and stuff) beats the hell out of living based on tournament prize pools.
1) he wasn't addressing any one in particular merely the foolish people being trolled. 2) Practicing with oGs and competing in code S will get him way more money then nay salary EG could offer him 3)I'm pretty sure he gets a salary from TL(Though im not 100% sure on this, and yes it would be lower then EG. but Code S money is way more then both and he sure as hell won't be staying in code S if he only has Idra to practice with...)

If I were a 23 year old ambitious progamer, I wouldn't join a team which is basically a progamers' graveyard in terms of future career, and I wouldn't leave a team which offers me the best working conditions and training partners, therefor a way to improve enough so that I can compete at the top and reliably earn money myself in the long run.
Contracts are usually only 1 or 2 years long at most - he should think about what happens after that. No amount of money that EG offers him will cover him for life.
It's a difference between giving a man a fish, and teaching a man how to fish - and what EG is doing is only giving him a fish and if he takes it he'll likely never be able to learn to fish good enough.

To be fair, progaming is really not a viable career for a lengthy period of time. He's in his prime right now, and it'd be smart to cash in as much as he can before he retires. Also, I highly doubt the oGs players will stop practicing with him just because he's on a different team; even after the EG/Puma scandal, Puma still practices with the TSL members. As long as no hard feelings exist, I don't see why he can't keep improving, so long as he stays in Korea.
That being said, I don't like it any more than you do. For some reason, whenever EG picks up a player, I just stop paying attention to him. (Grubby seems to have been the only exception.) Meh.

there is much more proof That Huk left then he didn't to be honest. You should wait until the announcement until you call people idiots. I was directing it to you since you were insulting everyone with no basis. I'm still a fan of huk as are other people. Just because he went to Eg doesn't make him any different to me. With that said, I'll stop talking about it as I don't want to turn this thread into the other one.. Just wait 2 days though, before arguing with me, please. ^^

hehe i should just copy and paste my own texts...ppl who spread rumors...r idiots....enough said...no proof for anything...there is more proof of idra quitting than HuK switching teams and joining a lesser one...
so gl HuK and sorry ur fan club has turned into a high school gossip party...

I bet EG is going to announce that HuK got a new dog and named it IdrA
Edit: Gogo Huk you are awesome!!!
|
Wait . . . can anyone please explain to me where the truth in any of this is?
|
Nobody knows anything really, except a few people who aren't saying anything. So anything you hear is pure speculation.
|
HuK is still HuK whatever teams he decides to be in!
|
HuK, whatever happens you're still my favourite player! Do what's best for you.
|
If people aren't trolling then it looks like EG might be merging with IM as well IMO, so Huk would have MVP and Nestea as practice partners. Either way it doesn't matter, I like watching his play despite whatever comes before "Huk" in his username.

Huk.... I'm your fan..... and I'm also business savvy.
For you to goto EG, here is what you should get.
1. Apartment of your choice in Korea, up to $2k per month 2. Yearly salary of 100k ($8250 per month) 3. 35k signing bonus - this is important too because they need to show a commitment. You are committing to leaving your teamhouse... an signing bonus is appropriate.
You're totally worth it. The cost to EG for that is 150k for a year. In that year, they will get 5x that in attention and sponsor value. If a company like EG sign another Intel level sponsor, your salary is a fraction of that. You give EG a good chance with MANY sponsors..... more so than anyone they have.
Its a business and you need to create a career for yourself. You are putting your reputation on the line, you should be fairly compensated. Leaving a "white hat" company for a "black hat" one is not without ramifications....
This will be a lateral to downward move for you from a training standpoint, so make sure its worth it financially.
Best of luck... your doing amazing for someone in their early 20's already, but the reality is that you are the biggest star in the foreign scene, and that command a hefty premium.
So don't go cheap!
(still sad if its true you leaving the oGs house.... but business is business and everyone needs financial security)

HuK I encourage you to take the deal and pay your moderators for a wonderful job they've done on your stream

there is a thread where this stupid shit BARELY belongs, can we keep rumours and gossip out of the fan club?
