I actually think it was AskJoshy who made the video documentary...

Its a nice set up however he does it. If i'm wrong someone please correct me as I too would like to know. (With the keyboard and mouse being plugged into the USB ports on the laptop) That's the setup he was using in that video with psystarcraft i believe? when he lived with machine. tonight on itg he was definitely using a different setup though, you could see idra from incontrols camera and his setup was not that. If he really wanted to use the ladders though, he could just blacken the screen while searching (like what Incontrol has been doing). Then again, he's said that it was mostly to check out what was happening in the metagame, pick up new weird builds and such, and probably isn't that much of that stuff going on that isn't fairly known.

Maybe even a Code S spot if he can win the entire tournament :3

It might be possible in some exceptional circumstances, but this is pretty basic. It should be possible to get a code A spot in the next MLG though, and from there a code S spot isn't far away from a talented player like IdrA. He's definitely better than most of code A and a decent part of code S as well. Especially if he gets time to hardcore practice a bit before his first matches.

And luckily he did it with enough warning for the GOM people that they didn't bar him from playing in GSL like they did for Rain when he just up and left.

Also the chance for him winning one in mlg is extremely high, he just has to place in like the top 10 for it (most foreigners cant go and top 2-3 is usually koreans).

He just has to hope that he can qualify for a code S spot right away in his first Code A games, cause if he gets demoted into code B it will be such a long way back to the top.... exhibit Jinro
