Huk played macro protoss against IdrA
He played "lose my entire army by pushing into roach/ling on creep" against Sheth
Mix that with opening DT and doing no damage, then dying to a roach counter attack with no detection...
He just plays much better against IdrA =/

Idra did great today at the BNET Invitational. Hope to see him stream in the coming days ^_^

Look at the Incontrol showmatch When Deezer, CombatEx, and Incontrol are his protoss practice partners, he will never fix that matchup =/ actually im looking at the showmatch and incontrol is 3-2 over destiny :D i guess maybe incontrol had a good practice with idra specifically against destiny.

All the games have beeen pretty early attacks(I think? havent paid much attention) and Destiny's style is pretty weak before infestors pop

Is he friends with kiwi? Regular practice could benefit both of them.
Else, he needs to go back to Korea to see the latest trends in zvp. He lost to huk in both an all in and a macro game.

Actually, game 2 of Huk vs Sheth was very similar to g1 of Huk vs Idra. One base opening with very fast tech into expansion, and then a push after doing some damage. The main difference is that HuK had a good read on what Idra was doing, and a bad read on what Sheth was doing. Both games the opening gave him an advantage (he was ahead of Sheth after the DTs), and he decided to seal the deal with an attack, probably assuming the Zerg would just drone hard to catch up. This worked against Idra because Idra's followup was kind of bad, while Sheth's was quite solid. HuK would've beaten Sheth that game anyway, but he derped and didn't throw the Robo down fast enough after seeing the Roaches.
Also, again, what you call "macro Protoss" isn't that good against Zergs who know how to handle the deathball properly. HuK did it against Idra because Idra clearly doesn't, and Shakuras is a pretty good map for that style. Still, I can point you to tons of games where someone tries "macro Protoss" and gets raped by the Zerg. HuK clearly thinks that he needs to do these risky tech openings, and I sort of understand why.
All in all, HuK played kind of bad the whole tournament. If he keeps it up, he's gonna get rolled in his Code S group :/

Sorry, I'm not totally familiar with how the invitional works... Does this mean that IdrA is not going to play in the Blizzcon tournament?

correct, only top 2 qualifies for Blizzcon(Sheth Select, Naniwa Ret, Major Killer so far)

Too bad we're not going to see him at BlizzCon. I was looking forward to that. =[

Yeah, i'm very disappointed.

Idra was just unlucky in g1, if those lings hadn't gotten caught that push would not have been half as affective.

This puzzled me for some three seconds as well, but it was easily figured out once I put my mastermind to it:
When you Google 343a3aa (the first part of the code) you get one single result. This: http://mail.jintoys.com/product.asp?page=343&A3=AA
This is the website for a Chinese toy store, but what's special with this location is that overviews battery ope(the last part of the code)rated toy vehicles.
Now what else do we know about vehicles? Well, only that lectR some while ago posted, in this thread. a picture of IdrA sitting in a Bugatti Veyron.
And what connects Bugatti to battery operated cars? Well, only the fact that Bugatti is developing a battery-powered supercar. Coincidence?
And it doesn't stop there. This article was posted on May 28th 2010. Exactly one year before the first Heart of the Swarm trailer leaked.
Connecting all of these facts can only lead to one thing. Heart of the Swarm will contain battery-operated Bugatti Veyrons driven by none other than IdrA himself. This will be epic.

Obviously. I was thinking it was about a terran though since they, well, like themselves some radiocontrolled racecars. (With flamethrowers on their roofs.)

^ you made me think you were serious until the last paragraph . with that theory I think it is more likely that bugatti is going to sponsor EG ^_^
