not trying to talk smack, but i'm guessing you don't really know how to play zerg. you think that getting roaches would have been great, but then it makes your army very easy to exploit. roaches don't handle drops well at all, and if boxer would have followed up that original play with banshee instead of marine, your going roach logic would have failed. Or even if he started going tanks roaches would suck vs that also.

Thank's but I've been his fan since BW despite the mass amount of hate he gets, its pure and simple fact that his builds are fragile compared to zergs like nestea and drg because they arn't afraid to change in the face of adversity.

are you shitting me? he killed half the workers in terran main, he spent so few larva in contrast on the amounts on hellions, plus he got blue flame invested and he still just gets roflstomped being ahead in everyway due to marines w/ combat shield.
How the hell should have idra reacted? Banelings? Split marines would probably win for boxer as well as there being several hellions.
Ignore mutas? Why? Just blind no mutas? No doesn't work that way, no chance in hell overlord speed would be done in time even if started as soon as possible to scout the base.
In any sort of way that was a respectful push, one which should not be so powerful after all of that invested and lost.
And also people commentating roaches, you need 1+ attack for them to even work against marines and then you need a big big number of them. Also combat shield would just make roaches unfeasible not to mention what if he went tanks behind that? Now you got roaches instead of mutas.

The problem is how little terran can screw up and still work while the tiniest mistake from zerg costs one the game.

Banelings in the last game were just a moment too late. With a bit of luck he could have taken it, had he gotten the banelings out but meh.

boxer couldve a-moved and left his booth and started celebrating and he could've won it that game didnt take any skill matter of fact neither game did he just abused some timings and imbalances and a few poor decisions by idra

Not so much luck as just having maybe 3 or 4 of them beforehand. Trying to make them as soon as you see the marine ball just doesn't work without vision of the map.

I think that Boxer prepared "special tactics" against IdrA exclusively. This would not work against Ret, Sen or July. Boxer is one of the best players out there in the field of preparing to play against specific opponent.
IdrA on the other hand did extremely well - his defense against Blue Flame helions was one of the best I've ever seen. I still do believe that IdrA will win the whole thing. I'm just glad to see that he did improve during those past 2 weeks.

In match 2, he did a ling runby, and saw all the barracks (I believe)
He should have had his banelings up much quicker. I think he realizes that. If it weren't for BoxeRs timing attack, he most likely would have won.

I really hope idra takes this, although i must say he isnt the same as he used to be. Like someone above said he needs to go to korea and sharpen up again :/

He was one of the first to do the tunneling claws builds and has used nydus/infestor before. People keep bitching about him being predictable when the race dictates most of that anyway. Zerg openers are few and far between really. Being a fan for a long time doesnt mean it's cool to just hop off a bandwagon.

Koreans have been hit badly by Jetlag so I really do dread them tommorow when they've had a chance to rest.
