The Koreans dislike him because his disrepectful. In Korea respect is a big thing, saying gg and stuff. It's not that he believes zerg is underpowered.
Anyways, loved the interview. Carmac always have interesting questions.

I hope he adopts more infestor heavy play against terran more often. I feel like he is sort of one dimensional against terran with ling/bling muta. First game against fenix looked really good from idra though
What? That was his standard zvt...
Nicely played so far today by IdrA. Hopefully he can finish it off strong in game 2 and against either TT1 or SeleCT.
Idra usually tried to just power through with ling/bling muta. I've never really seen him tech up to broods or get infestors. He stated he doesnt like broods because they are too slow
IdrA has been using Infestors in his ZvT for quite some time.. He just goes Mutas first because it fits his multitasking a bit better and he believes he can make them work better then Infestors. Plus, map control.
Also, he did indeed make that statement, however it was for ZvP, not ZvT.
Mutas first is great. DRG does muta before infestors from what I've seen.
i havent seen a good zerg skip mutas tbh
Destiny does it all the time, he always completely skips muta and goes fast infestors
-.- Yea but thats operating under the assumption that Destiny is a good zerg. Don't get me wrong, he's miles ahead of me, but still behind IdrA and the rest of the top zergs.
Destiny beat Bomber 2-1
Edit: I don't think you can beat a top korean without being a good zerg, per se.
its sc2. skill doesent protect you that well from losing against inferior players

In any serious tournament situation, I don't think Destiny can beat Bomber. Taking that series proves that he is good. Top tier ladder warrior, but doesn't prove anything about taking serious games.

mutas are also better for dealing with drops, but infestors are far superior when it comes to actual fights
Agreed, both of you. And infestor harass is so annoying to deal with without proper detection. Kinda like DTs which do area damage >: Turret crawl tank marine thor medivac push gogogo

What happens when terrans figure out that they have flying caster with detection ability and can reach starport tech so fast that they could actually do a marine tank raven push? I believe that a proper marine tank push wih detection is really hard to stop efficiently with ling bling infestor only.
Here are a bunch of sentences that I wrote about IdrA....dunno why, I was mad bored one day and I thought they were pretty funny.
RELEASE THE GRACKEN! Let him swarm above you, leaving a hellfire of destruction in his wake! He will stare into your soul and devour your very essence. Raw fury emanates from every orifice of his wretched body. He cannot be stopped by mortal means, because to slay the GRACKEN is to slay death itself.
Look upon the GRAKEN'S horrifying visage and feel your very soul slip away as you gaze into his demonic eyes.
The GRACKEN violently lashes his tendrils against the heavens, shattering the skies where the old gods slumber. His psychotic blood lust is truly insatiable.
Every fiber of the GRACKEN'S gruesome body radiates an unholy aura of pure malice. His crushing presence is enough to turn even the bravest man's bones to dust.
The GRACKEN'S deathly touch induces a necrosis so potent that even the Anhk of the gods recoils in his presence. Life is a hellish rollercoaster ride of uncertainty, but one thing is absolute-your very life exists at the GRACKEN'S leisure.
The GRACKEN resides in a twisted aether, high above the mortal realm. He sits atop a throne of skulls, picking his razor-sharp fangs with the bones of fallen men.
The GRACKEN is a soulless beast of unparalleled malevolence. His heart is as black as a starless night. It is said that his heart only beats as he tears into his opponents flesh, as if it's reveling in the ecstasy of bloodshed and carnage.
Go now, my friend. Say goodbye to the one girl you truly adore, your friends, and your family. Take solace in the warm embrace of the people you cherish. The GRACKEN has been fiendishly guiding the metastasis of creep throughout our world for aeons. His cancerous tendrils are choking the planet of all life. I look to the future of humanity and see only darkness-an inexorable march into oblivion.
