I wonder if idra has any "Oh God... what have i done" moment after that. Even if his chances of succeeding were slim he could have at least tried more seriously. MC makes stupid mistakes every now and then and Idra could have been lucky. I think many of the most exciting and surprising tournament results have included a little bit of luck. It was just so sad to watch idra play like that ;(. It totally crushed my motivation to play. Zerg has crushed his spirit long time ago i guess. I have to watch the next inside the game he has to talk about that.

But he was the best foreigner and got really high in the tournament so his results were more than decent imo. And Idra has an AWESOME personality. Sometimes i can't believe he isn't doing this on purpose. Like for example he has a nickname (Grack) he doesn't really like (soooo cute) and he is an extremely relateable person with his balance opinions (or facts) and frustration. And by the way if you are a grackling, don't give him all kinds of retarded tips of how to play. He knows what he is doing he doesn't need your fucking advice. Also hoping for drama (=idra angry) is kinda gay. end of rant

not quite sure. The thing with a lot of IdrA "fans" is that they become his fan when he wins a series and stop being his fan when he loses a series. It is the "fans" (if you even want to call him that) fault, not IdrA's. People get tilted, get over it "fans."

Still Losira manage to beat MC, Slush manage to beat Tyler, Idra manage to beat MC the first time they played and apparently jetlag had nothing to do with it according to people when it happend, and so on so it can be done.

Idra is a great player but he needs to learn how to ignore his emotions and just try as hard as he can until the game is 100% over instead of raging over imb.

I just realized that IdrA was the only foreigner who won against the top 3 koreans in any of the matches... MMA never lost to a non-korean in a BoX and neither did Losira (July didn't either but wasn't top 3). We see how much potential IdrA has so it's always a shame when he does silly things like leave games too early or get flustered but he really is one of if not the greatest foreigner.

Everyone gets emotional when they lose a big match regardless of the sport or game (or don't live up to their expectations after many many hours of practice). Facing them and turning them into a positive thing is a better approach than ignoring them (like ignoring any other weakness in your play).

Imagen if for example Sweden had said GG vs Finland in the olympic hockey when they were down 5-1 and everybody said it was impossible to win. Thank god you cant gg in hockey, they kept playing and won 6-5 after and amazing comeback.

Stuff like that happens all the time in sports and often in a game like sc2. You keep playing to the end, simple as that.

I'm sorry, but as an IdrA fan I get angry to see IdrA going all-in against MC twice like that (I can understand the game where it was Nexus-before-Hatch, but wtf happened on metalopolis?). He showed us that he can totally take MC in a macro game. It was unnecessary. Where's the macro-beast we know and love?

It reminds me of Magneto "becoming what he hated most."

I understand that, but the macro games he played with MC were awesome. And he won 2-0 with those games. The cheese games were boring, uninteresting, and didn't work anyway.

Man.. what happened idra? It's hard to support you when you approach the biggest tournaments like you do ladder games... I find myself tuning into your games less and less because of your play, but more and more because of the drama.

I think this all started when he 6 pooled Jinro in GSL. He got hooked on the quick easy way out, and ever since has been cheesing and early-gg'ing on a larger basis. Although he gets eliminated, he gets a lot of exposure and crowd from it, so he still wins in a sense. So I can see why he is hooked.

Idra if you are reading, think back to what was going through your head when you were on that single trip plane to Korea. Think back to your dreams. You wanted to be the next NaDa. I know SC2 didn't happen to be exactly what you had hoped for, but are you really going to give up your dreams because of Blizzard?
