I understand the pain. I watch a lot of people in Chicago feel pain over the Cubs losing all the time and it's hilarious to watch for me. I was upset when IdrA lost so many games in a row, most by his own anger or inability to destroy early pressure completely. Hell, I even made a Reddit thread about it, and while it's painful right now, I'm not gonna completely leave the Gracken because he's a dumbass sometimes.
He's still a great player to watch, and now that I've adapted to watching more Zerg, I'm loving IMNestea.
Release the Gracken in the new GSL (if he decides to go).

Hey Idra, I read a book called "Talent is NEVER Enough". It's supposed to help talented people achieve success in the workplace. I think the same applies to pro-gaming. Talent/potential is never enough, and it showed in MLG. Hope you improve in that aspect.

You're saying it to the most hard working non-korean SC2 player.

We see how much potential IdrA has so it's always a shame when he does silly things like leave games too early or get flustered but he really is one of if not the greatest foreigner.
I was at MLG Columbus, watched MMA kill his own orbital, watched the ensuing battle from afar, and saw some "gg"s pop up. I was totally flabbergasted when I learned that Idra had actually forfeited the match, as was everyone on the floor (and Day[9], I believe). I admire Idra as an excellent player, but does he lack serious fortitude? Does he just not scout well enough to know when he's at an advantage or disadvantage? Does he lack serious confidence in his play? It was so frustrating to see our "foreigner hope" (especially a Midwestern boy on Midwestern US soil) surrender silly games or throw out failed all-ins against players with whom (imo) he has a good, fighting chance.
On a side note, if Idra said an interview he cant winn vs protoss and will play more cheeze why would he predict a 2-0 vs. MC in their second meeting?

Yeah well, hardwork isnt the only thing that brings success when you have talent. Read the book.

I disagree. First of all, he finished fourth which is even better than he did at MLG Dallas. I don't think this is honestly that much of a "down" for him. He still beat all the nonkoreans.
A lot of people like him because of his disdain for cheese and his beastly macro, and for IdrA to throw away 2 games against MC like that is extremely disappointing. Just because we're supporters of IdrA doesn't mean we should be completely blind followers of him. They were boring games, and not at all what I have come to expect from IdrA.
Having said that, that first series against MC was saaweeeet!!

What'd you think of Greg's girlfriend anyway, did she seem like she likes him, or that she's an attention whore? In Greg's interview with hotbid, she kept moving her face back and forth, like she's trying to get "discovered" lol.

I meant by that, that a korean pro stated about Idra that he was more a hardworking than a talented player, and Idra kinda agreed (he said that hardworking was a quality or something like that)

I dont see why people bash her for dating Idra. Even if it isnt that serious and wont last long. They both get something out of it. She gets to date our zerg king and he gets to hit that .
Only caught the last idra vs mc game. But that was quite close. Missed the others but guesse there's not much to regret since the first 3 were cheesefest.

What the fuck am I reading? Your post just gave me brain cancer.
I hope some mod makes discussions about his GF a banable topic, just like balance.

I think the reason on Shakuras was that MC got his Nexus before IdrA got the hatch (which is generally considered extremely unfavorable). It was the other game that really surprised me because it just seemed completely random.

I was just posting that because I wasn't sure if she was trolling as they were or whatever. Greg dud say she asked him out, not the other way around.
