As a terran, if I see the infestation pit go down I breathe a sigh of relief because it's so much easier to deal with then mutas and transition into slightly more tanks and eventually into ghosts. In the meantime, I just turtle and drop here, drop there, etc. By the time he has his imba unbeatable corrupter/infestor/broodlord, I have enough ghosts/vikings that I just lol | ||

The best part of it is that you dont need to go for just that endgame, you can also go for ultra/bane/infestor since your melee upgrades are so high. Also quick infestors are great vs the "drop here, drop there" mentality if you leave some infestors in your base | ||

Infestors don't. Mutas become MUCH more powerful with really good multitasking/apm. Infestors become a little better with good multitasking/apm. Mutas gain map control before infestors. Infestor/bling and infestor/roach is REALLY good at dealing with bio balls and mass hellions respectively. Infestor roach is a much better composition vs mass thor. It is a stylistic choice, but given the current trend of marine/tank, muta ling bling has more perks in my opinion. Also for someone like IdrA, who has really good multitasking, mutas allow him to use it. Any time he sees mass thor on his stream, he switches to infestors and rushes to NP (even if he already started mutas before he scouted the mass thor) | ||

Seriously they are so retarded. I understand they need them early game but the ability to FF enemy ramps and turn so much terrain to their advantage is stupid. IdrA has perfect unit composition to beat Minigun and he loses because of FF. | ||
