I don't think the issue with adelscott was the lag, it was when he told KawaiiRice that he couldn't understand what Adelscott was saying because "US ppl r tard."

But i don't really carea bout adelscott so whatever he doesnt like to stream AND play on eu, both of them combined cause him to lag badly, he can do one or the other just fine.
He has said this is his Q&A after the stream. I can attest to it's veracity.
His connection can handle the EU fine, but is he streams at the same time, it goes to hell.

What happened? How did Idra gather such a huge fans club? Last time I hear, he's on B-Team of CJ Entus.

Happened when SC2 came out, he switched and is proving himself to be among the top zerg players of the world, and have an attitude.

idra invited to DreamHack Summer yesss

too bad he doesnt stream EU. watching the NA ladder is hurting my eyes and brain. it's insane to see what kind of people are matched up against idra. watching those north americans going aginsat each other is kinda boring..

I agree.
At it's current state NA seems worse than LA in terms of Cheese and 1 base play.
The LADDER, not the pros.

It's just the fact that he get's matched up with people who can literally NEVER beat him in a 'standard' game so they obviosly all-in/cheese.

I understood that but then he said that Adelscott was raging for no reason because the lag wasn't so bad.
And it might be because of stream + cross serv but i thought he also said he didn't want to participate in EU tourneys because of the lag. Not entirely sure though

B- team but representing America. One of two, him and Nony. That's why he has so many fans

Unlike most players Idra has a personality and a voice that fans can relate to. Which is in stark contrast to the rest of the non-korean players. The only other player I know that has somewhat of a personality is Huk. Basically he's a polarizing figure so he gets both good and bad attention.
Also I think he's a great player.

You are talking about when he was in korea, the lag from korea to both eu and US is pretty bad.
Now that he's in the US he can play on the eu servers without any lag, the only lag he gets is when he streams.

Yeah, same goes for players like Destiny & iNcontroL.

Well too be honest the NA is pretty shit though. 9 games out of 10 are cheese/all in games it seems when I play on there. Especially compared too EU where I am getting a lot more macro games and not as much all in/cheeses. i wish he could stream/play on EU without lag also sucks he gets bad lag when he does :/.

I would love to see him compete in the GSL as an outsider while still playing all the other tournaments though he'd probably have to clone himself :D

Idra was the first player I rooted for, way back in the KotB tournament against Tester. He's one of the best Zergs in the world, but over time his style of openly criticizing and insulting others has worn me out. Still I'll always be a fan, his work ethic is admirable and his macro is amazing.
