First round of IGN games that have recently been aired.
+ Show Spoiler +Holy shit IdrA dominated Fenix. That was zero contest. IdrA seemed to know what Fenix was doing the entire time for the first game. Perfectly intercepted the reaper and Fenix really couldn't do anything. The only thing that through him off even slightly the entire series was the banshee and IdrA just turned around and killed him when it started to do any noticeable damage.

First round of IGN games that have recently been aired: + Show Spoiler +Yea, perfect decissions from the start to the end of both games. He seemed to be better at every aspect of the game in these matches.

It's interesting that ayone who looks at IdrA's match history and is knowledgeable of SC2 competitions will have to turn a blind eye. Apparently Blizzard's battle.net is a bit too good when it comes to knowing what players are doing : ] I think only Ladder Matches should be listed in match history and this would remedy all of the tournament spoilers.
But spoilers or not, I'll still watch the matches because like I said, I'm an IdrA fan through and through.

Can't you hide the match histories and build orders with custom maps though? That is totally lame.
|
I think the Mod addition made me curious enough to spoil myself haha. Oh well i dont my tighties in a bunch with spoilers. Dont care much,

Ya I almost always just look at the spoilers if they are provided... but I don't really care if I get spoiled in most situations anyway... and other than that I don't actually watch to many games, I just like keeping track of the results most of the time as that is all I have time for... so simply getting the information sooner doesn't make too big of a difference.
That being said... I really think they should cover it up.

I'm actually not very familiar with how far you can look back in someones history and all that... but they need to cover it up some how. Having fake games in between would be a pain in the ass... but that would be 1 way to do it.
|
It's not that. With some custom maps always show tie instead of win and lose and the build order history is all bugged up so you wouldn't be able to tell what happened early game.
|
perhaps some sponsor could provide smurf accounts ¯\(°_o)/¯

the bracket on challonge leaked, not his match history. it was a private bracket but someone took a screencap and posted it, and voila, leaks.
|
not only was match history a problem but people find an entire filled out bracket on the internet, so not only idras matches can be found, the entire tournaments can be found as well.

while numbering the idra quote list, i found this little gem. i thought it was great.
+ Show Spoiler +You gotta love IdrA's simple replies! alright. my brother has a mental illness that ranges somewhere between bipolar and schizophrenia. the disease has caused him to act crazy and make too many connections. we put him on drugs but he stopped taking them multiple times. our family watched him carefully and made him take tranquilizers, and he was completely unable to think and function at times. it turned out that we just had to let psychiatry take its course over time, because after 5 violent incidents and 6 months of living with him while psychotic, he came around and started a successful career...now he's married and pursuing his masters' in statistics while working. so here's the deal. over the course of dealing with this shit, you have to maintain a positive outlook or you get really depressed, because it is a really bleak situation. I knew I would have to deal with a lot of bullshit when talking/driving/interacting with someone who is clearly not sane but I stuck through it because I had the hope of eventually reclaiming a loved one. Every conversation when he was on excessive tranquilizers would tear me up because I saw what he was reduced to; but every conversation when he was manic was complete hell. Oh and btw, the system of mental hospitals in the united states is fucking horrible. And the worst part was: you can't talk a manic out of his delusions. You can't explain things to them because they are making connections in their head at a rate much faster than you, and have memories that are just straight different from what happened. We were told by a social worker that we were supposed to become his "allies" in his illness and not reject his ideas outright but try to convince him of the truth slowly while overtly agreeing with him. So we worked through it, and we prayed in order to keep ourselves from crushing despair. We had to arbitrarily believe it would get better in the future, or it would feel a lot worse every time we tried to deal with it. Make sense? god didnt do jack shit. psychiatry did.
edit: idra on IGNPL right now!

IdrA has been dominating lately. He's taking his incredible macro and mixing in some cheesy midgame attack strategies. It's pretty unstoppable.

Nice to see the mods taking action... though too late for my spoiled soul :D
Idra playing Drewbie atm on IPL, good stuff.
