smiley wars after every game please <3
This might be cool--I do think western SC2 (or even Korean SC2) could use a cool rivalry. Remember how all the koreans kept saying "Idra is my rival"? Given his stature, whatever rivalry Idra has could be the largest in SC2.
Idra is like, the choicest rival.

With his mechanics it will be fuggin deadly.

P.S your cameo on state of the game was hilarious. That's great! A more aggressive Idra will be much more interesting to watch. I know when he was in Korea he was practicing a lot more of the Kyrix style baneling aggression on his stream. I haven't seen him do much of that in tournaments but if he mixes that in with some July style timings and aggression he would really start dominating tournaments and would be less susceptible to cheeses that punish his normal passive reactionary play.

So true.

Well he has two toss in his group, so let's hope he makes it out. I am quite convinced he will, but well.. we know how much he likes that MU.

I think he'll win MLG guys, he is definitely the most talented player going and I think with the small Zerg buffs his ZvP will improve a lot. iNcontrol was also saying on SOTG how IdrA has changed his style a bit, and it would be scary if he started throwing in early aggression to catch people off guard because his mechanics are easily the best of any foreigner.
IdrA over SelecT again I think .

i lol'd at crunchers fanclub, seriously noone probably cares about cruncher there, they only care about someone beating/bm'ing idra. Its kinda sad really, they are using cruncher just a tool to express their Idra hate
I think Idra said it the best how to deal with these situations (when someone asked him about Zenio episode) - "Let him have his 5 minutes of fame, he will dissapear really quick"

Zenio hasn't even close to disappeared and neither will Cruncher. Cruncher's not going anywhere and I think the rivalry is great. If you've followed Cruncher he's probably the sickest American PvTer right now, demolishing Fenix, PainUser, and Sjow. and his win over Idra isn't a fluke, he's a legitimate player and I can't wait to see Idra and Cruncher clash in the future, they're 3-3 right now and I think that's great. Let the trash talk continue and I doubt Idra will underestimate Cruncher in the future.

Idra's got this, he's going to destroy everyone at MLG. And he's going to do it while accusing people of beeing mediocre, feeble minded and french. And we're all gonna love him for it because Lex Luthor always had ten times the personality of Clark Kent.
Here's to the return of the supervillain!

It's curious how everybody in the IrdA fanclub talks about Cruncher and everyone in the Cruncher fanclub talks about IrdA.

White-Ra's Bm was probably more frustration about the state of PvP than his opponent. If you don't like 4-Gate you are doomed in mirror... Look up "Sirlin play to win" on google. If WhiteRa was really complaining about 4gate, then he was simply being a "scrub" as defined by Sirlin's book (which is very well thought out and VERY well-written, I might add). Don't mean to insult WhiteRa with the word "scrub", but, basically, Sirlin defines it as a player who kind of restricts himself to a certain playstyle because he thinks the game should be played a certain way, and when he loses to someone playing to win, he complains that the tactics that the winner used were "cheap". Obviously, it's not a perfect analogy since WhiteRa didn't complain by calling the 4gate "cheap" (I'm still on the fence about whether or not he was being sarcastic or actually complaining in the first place), but you can see where I'm coming from. sirlins a bit of a retard *IdrA later elaborates: + Show Spoiler +On March 31 2011 08:27 IdrA wrote: my opinion that hes retarded is more based on an article he posted about sc2/mbs/"button mashing"
but with the respect to the scrub stuff, its operating on the assumption that the game isnt broken. he even gives examples in the article about how some characters are too good and thus are banned, he couches it by saying theyre boss characters and not designed to be fair, but the premise is there. there can be cheap things within games, pointing them out doesnt make you a 'scrub'
5 rax reaper was in the game, it was obviously broken, it was removed. people who bitched about it were helping the community by calling attention to a problem within the game that was then fixed.
ya in a mature, well designed game he may have a point. sc2 isnt that.
