And usually Terran streamers get the most viewers. i dunno about that, idra and stephano always got the most viewers and they were both zergs, only terran is demuslim really.

glad he's at least trying terran though, it was fun to see him play with an unfamiliar race and progress quite quickly through the lower ranks ^_^

You would be surprised at how fast people would stop watching them with high viewer count. The first few times they would get a lot, but then like every other korean pro their viewers would average 2-3k probably. I mean when jaedong started streaming his first time he got 12k (this was back at end of wol too iirc). So I imagine they'd get about that much (maybe more maybe less) then would average 2-3k. I mean it has happened to every top korean pro that streamed, DRG even back in his prime, Jaedong and others. Korean pro's don't get too many stream viewers because they only play and do music (by a lot of viewers I mean at Idra/stephano viewership). If you commentate or are entertaining on stream = get lots of viewers and most korean pro's aren't like that.

Sometimes when you're really good at something you do, people will expect you to keep doing it but it may not be what you want. I was really upset over the news of IdrA quitting progaming but I realize this was what he needed. I agree. It was a good, relieving choice for him i would assume. Also, it's interesting to see him playing terran.

Possibly already posted somewhere in this thread but I just noticed this since people are trying to open threads about it. What a terribly written article, holy shit.

But it still goes to show how large a difference a webcam and commentary go in terms of stream "quality". I'm pretty sure I would watch the shit out of Flash's stream and many others as well. Me too but most don't after the first few times or as much. It's been proven many times as well people prefer entertainers.
