Well he was just putting an idea out there. If a subscriber sees it and goes "oh yeah that's a great idea i'll ask him" then everyone wins.

It probably started some time during the lair but they kept it to themselves while they were still team mates. When Idra moved out of the lair and then got released, that's when they started to dislike each other (at least Idra towards Demuslim). Don't over think it imo.
By the way I'm learning some much from his stream it's so awesome. He's still a pretty fucking good player and he explains his thought process really well while playing, few players can actually talk and play at the same time.

A while back they were teammates that didn't smack talk eachother on stream, or stream snipe eachother to practically troll just for shits and giggles either
