Some days hes just really slow in doing stuff on the screen, sometimes it is graciously fast. Meanwhile it's always constantly brilliant on for example stephanos stream. That is what keeps me worried for tournaments, which gracken will come today? | ||

Edit: I should have added, that i haven't seen him play recently. But he has really no results or achievements that make him stand out and i don't believe just because of hots he will be a dominant player... | ||

But he is a great player and idra is not doing that well lately. | ||

It's pretty bad (bad macro, hotkeys being messed up constantly, etc) but it's exactly the abusive playstyle that's strongest against Z. Cutting corners, relying on recall pushes, Protoss air... And with maps like Akilon Wastes in the pool, it's going to be very hard beating a P like Minigun. P.S. If anyone else wants to check out Minigun's stream, mute it. Trust me on this one. | ||

Minigun is not specifically a good player on terms of mechanics, its just his style of playing is stylistically anti-Idra.. He relies totally 100% on cheesy all in strategy, and is damn good at it, especially his FF micro is insane... Idra even recalled it in several interview that Minigun is one of the few really good american protoss players. | ||

However the protoss maxed on voids, templar, tempest, stalker and gg. thats why you have to keep them on 3 bases while constantly applying agression in order to force them to tech slowly enough that you can build upa good enough economy that you can whittle down there army skytoss is far stronger then BL/Infester ever was, BL infester could be killed, you could catch it out of position you could vortex against Skytoss you cant do any of that Zerg dont have good enough harassment to force them out of position and since the army doesnt have a weak link and moves so well theres nothing you can do | ||

Haha so right, I tried to watch his stream yesterday but man his moans, impossible to listen to that :D. Guys this is idrAs fanclub and you are expecting him to lose against some medicore toss? (dont even argue on that, he has never won anything that matters, you can name a ton better protoss players than him). The only real problem is current balance situation in zvp which obviously favors toss a lot but I still think idra is going to roll him ezpz! | ||

Minigun beat Idra tons of times on WoL as well, but I guess you could argue some of that was pretty gimmicky as well. No matter what, even balance aside I think, minigun has a good chance of winning. and as people have already said, hots seems to lend itself to his style of play pretty nicely. and really, you don't have to win something fancy to be good. I think Minigun has some sort of disease or condition that makes him really fuckin nervous or something, he barely even plays NA LANs despite being good enough to possibly have a break out performance. | ||
