They didn't even stream the match. The only reason I got a MLG ticket this weekend was to watch Idra... I don't understand, Idra has more fans then any other pro (Or at least alot of fans).

If that was the only reason you chose to buy a ticket, I'd say that was a bad idea. Also, losers bracket matches are not going to get priority over pool play.

in my opinion his showing was ok, but the series he lost were pretty sad and unnecessarry. could have been better, could have been worse. but i certainly hope for better results next time.

I thought he did well, especially compared to lately. Glad he won a few series..and beating Tails is pretty awesome.

i would love to see idra among the top 5 foreigners again. no need to tear apart everybody (would be awesome though), but i want him to be a threat against every possible player and i dont want to be afraid of random NA players (sorry, NA scene)

Yeah the results this weekend are very so-so. I know heading in I was not expecting him to get knocked out of WCS and MLG through ZvZ's. Looking at the breakdown of game 1 vs Sleep on his bnet profile it looks like he really should have won that one so that's a shame

I share this sentiment wholeheartedly. We used to not ever have to worry about lower-names or anyone considered Code A/B quality. Now any series win is essentially a relief... This weekend, I do think is a total improvement, though.

and now i dunno what to do with the rest of this weekend, since there wont be idra stuff tomorrow/for the rest of the night :/

In fairness, twelve hours of SC2, then three hours of sleep, then eight more hours of gaming, all in a tournament setting... that makes people play funky. Lots of big names went home early in both WCS and MLG. Idra's just one. qxc didn't win a series in WCS. Zenio went out to glon (who the fuck is that?). Clide and Choya are both out. Jinro's out, and sasquatch got another big scalp by beating Haypro. I had no idea who sasquatch was until he beat iNcontroL. EG's taken it on the chin a bit; HuK and Demuslim both losing early(ish). Illusion's a damn good player. I mean, I take your point, but in these circumstances, beating Illusion is a good result. If he'd beaten Jinro, that'd sound a lot better, but Illusion is a much better player than Jinro these days.
