Which is why he's competing in both. But let's face it, hardly any players who go into the open bracket - only about 8% of them - will have any chance of getting in the money. As in his interview, Idra wouldn't want to skip MLG, but he will do over US national tournaments because, frankly, he can win those ones.

If he beats sleep will he go to championship bracket tomorrow?

he doesnt want to skip WCS cause he really really likes the Olympic-style a lot. world championship stuff etc.

Also it's a huge amount of money.

Yeah, those $12k is probably the easiest $12k available this year.

Huge amount of money for these USA nationals too.
$12,000 for 1st, Idra gets $875 for 4th.

Whereas at MLG there's barely any chance he'll get into the money from the Open bracket. I mean, if he beats sleep he could maybe get something, but he knows he won't win it.

He has a win on Cloud Kingdom again now, so I Guess the matches vs Sleep are starting soon.
Could it be that he runs the Cloud Kingdom map to test his hotkeys?

After listening to the interview with Hot Bid, I can hardly blame IdrA for those obvious mistakes. Specifically, double festor pit, trowing away infestors, indecision in game 3 by cancelling bane nes then roach warren. Those aren't mistakes IdrA (or most professionals) would make. Games from noon-midnight + 3 hours of sleep makes that terrible performance make much more sense.
I'm never one to make excuses for him, but IdrA didn't just lose the series. He beat himself.
Fuck Sleep up!

C'mon, Idra. Last series before making it into champ bracket!
|
Idra is out
|
And 0-2
|
T_T Well well, it could certainly have been worse. He has a lot of downtime to practice before the next tournament, right?
|
He may be out, but i would say things are looking pretty damn good for the future of IdrA. Definetely a respectable showing this weekend. Plus the fact that he said he was completely exhausted today.
