If that is the case, then I am hoping to see a mindset change at some point because this way lies only a spiral of negative reinforcement. EDIT: like, he used to have trouble with Korean ZvP only, then all ZvP matches, now it's spreading to all his matchups to the point where he loses to inestablished foreigners.

It's like evading or ignoring the issue, not acknowledging and dealing with it. He did say he was practicing more efficiently, and that he was figuring out and fixing some mistakes. I think it's a little too soon to see that kind of practice pay off in a matter of weeks anyways. it definetly seems to me like he is on the way up though, if you look away from his horrendous ZvZ games

When you're visiting a psychologist, you can't be half-assed about it. It's a serious investment of time and money, as well as personal energy. To treat it as a minor thing is not going to be helpful at all. And surely if you take that step in the first place because you lost all confidence in your game, then you shouldn't be thinking or saying you're going to win because that's just denial, isn't it? And we've seen him play exactly the same way he has been recently -- making huge mistakes, quitting games before they have been played out. The way this is going, I don't think there is a chance that we will see IdrA coming back to top form this entire year 2012. I am actually fairly certain that we will not. Cheer up, Greg. You can come back. But it will not happen overnight and certainly not just because you want it to. You really have to work on it in a way that is different to how you've done it so far.

Axslav beats Idra 2-1 in OWR4 to bump his former teammate to the Losers Bracket! Will Idra fight his way back to qualify for pool play? i thought you couldn't get in to pool play from the loser bracket?
