Personal attacks in this thread will draw a temp ban. |

Come to the dark side Greg. :D
Temp bans are issued to those who post personal attacks. Can that be extended to anyone who feels the need to continue discussion of his mental health or any use of the word "mindset?"

So we're reporting people for not sharing an opinion with Idra? And all of these posts are bad? What is this? There's a difference between respecting someone's opinion when it comes to debatable matters, and when someone's simply wrong. I respect your opinion if you say that 2+2=7, but blatantly disagree.
I said what I said to give a different perspective to fanatic fans who make a saint out of Idra even when he's clearly wrong/biased. That being said, I'm a fan myself.

PM a mod about your warning, if I answer your questions I'll be in trouble for back-seat modding.

No I'm okay with the warning, I deserved it. The post that got me warned was a piece of shit, but generally, I still stand by what i said.

It seems that you are the chosen one who shall beat what is left of this horse into the next dimension.

Warnings/temp bans are usually given for how something was said rather than what was said.

i hope he doesnt stream and get some rest until mlg

I hope he doesn't stream today either. Want to see fresh IdrA at MLG.

I dont want to be offensive to you guys, but being 'fresh' has nothing to do with a good showing.
I play at a decently high lvl (masters) and if I don't play a game one day I feel like complete shit as far as the game goes.
Having a good showing at an MLG (or any other big tourney) comes down mostly to luck.
I want to see my man succeed as much as the next time, but the more we talk about it, the more is expected of him(since he does indeed check out the fanclub from time to time).
He is a great player and I don't see that changing anytime soon, he just needs the bricks to fall in the right order for him.

You're in masters league and think you're qualified to say how winning tournaments work?
Not only that but your actual though of it is ridicolous aswell lol, "comes down mostly to luck" that's just bullshit, I'm a fan of IdrA myself but all these excuses and bullshit things like "he just needs the bricks to fall in the right order for him" are so ridicolous lol.

For what it's worth, I think he's kind of right. Some days you just play better than others, and if you don't play for a day, it's going to feel slow and awkward. And what decides whether you're having a good day or not? With a stable mindset, I'd say it comes down to luck basically. He's not qualified to say what it takes to win a tournament, but he is more qualified than most to say what it takes to win, and what does it take to win a tournament? To win.
Saying that he just needs the bricks to fall in order for him might be taking it too far though

IdrA has said numerous times hes a very momentum oriented palyer, so hed rather paly some fodder and blow through them before he has to play someone good so hes all warmed up and good to go

theres absolutely nothing wrong with having a different opinion then IdrA
His fanclub, is not the place to be presenting that opinion there are plenty of other places you can debate specific topics

I see that you haven't playing competitive at all. Competitive players have so good routines that they can easily have small break and play with the full potential. I can say this from my own experience although the game i play is not sc2, but i guess it's the same thing in every game.
