I mean the way Jaedong god his card projects and such. Our favorite player had a very horrible start of a year. I also feel like he is losing motivation, hard to play a game when you don't like the game. (as stated by him in interviews). Can we arrange and do something to at least give him motivation to keep going. Maybe times will change to better. But I really fear we might lose our gracken :< | ||

Perhaps a discussion with Whole would be needed at first, but this should work and it'd really be a good cause. | ||

Well he has said in the past that he doesn't think he will do good in HOTS, I don't think he will retire although I imagine he is very frustrated. I am not worried at all about him retiring unless he continues to do bad when HOTS comes out. He's in a very rough patch and as I said to someone else earlier today, he's had a very bad almost first half of 2012 (which I can't believe it's almost been half a year). I really hope he can pull through soon xD. I do think a problem of his might be is it seems he has been playing with no breaks whatsoever. By breaks I mean taking a couple weeks off of sc2 to allow yourself a "cool" off period. I think every pro player has to do these at some points as I do believe playing to much and not taking a period of break ever leads to playing worse either by burning out by playing to much or just getting completely frustrated to the point of playing worse and worse as time goes on. Some people won't agree with me, but I think BW has shown this with top players who end up falling off after a small period of time. I feel they burn themselves out by playing to much and it hurts their play. Just my opinion anyway, rooting for idra until the end ^^ | ||

Question for Idra: You've said that you don't enjoy SC2 and only play it cuz its the main thing right now. I think i remember you saying you even hate the game? My question is, don't you think you're showing lackluster performance because you don't actually like the game? You're constantly facing opponents who actually enjoy playing, ofc they will have the upperhand against some1 who hates playing... | ||

Definitely need to get on this. We could do some major idra tributes! Like have an idra appreciation week. During that week we'll flood the EG fan mail with cards to idra. As for idra hating SC2, i think it's actually a love-hate relationship. Many things that people are passionate about, they tend to feel frustrated about it as well. Having passion for something that is creative or competitive is tough. I'm having a similar rough patch in my animation. | ||

Also as Protoss i don't think that he could complain about imbalance, whereas with Terran TvP would probably make him very, very mad. | ||

Terran plays the most like bw and has the most potential, with good multi tasking and macro terran is a very powerful race. I imagine if Morrow remained T he would win more as well tbh, both of them have good macro/multitasking and terran suits both of them in that regard imo as terran again gets so much benefit from being good at that kind of thing more so then toss/zerg. | ||

I'm playing my game in pretty high level and I always say that i hate the game and it's bad etc. But I don't really mean it it's just some kind of "funny attitude" more common within fps-scene. I don't think he really hates the game, he is just talking. | ||

I don't think he really hates the game, he is just talking. He sounded pretty serious on the last ITG (or maybe the one before that). He even said that the then upcoming showmatch with morrow was silly and he didn't wanna play it. I guess the follow-up question for Idra would be what he's gonna do to start performing again. EDIT: It was indeed the HuK showmatch, Most Evil Genious, that Idra thought was a waste of time, not the Morrow showmatch, sorry. | ||

eh Im glad Aocowns got banned and got some dirty words off. i got banned for a week cos some admin just didn't like what i was saying(i.e. there was no "user was temp banned" on any of my posts) + Show Spoiler + anyhow, the next big thing is possibly arena 2. just my hypothesis:MLG changed the arena 2 list to just a full list of players in the qualifiers cos they accidentally released the list. just theory though, don't read into what i say if you dont understand back to fanboying~ | ||
